Amy Nunn is a professor of Behavioral and Social Sciences at Brown University’s School of Public Health and Brown’s Medical School, Executive Director of the Rhode Island Public Health Institute, and the CEO of Open Door Health– the state’s first health clinic for the LGBTQ+ community.
Now, there’s a new threat to public health. Advocates are wrestling with research cuts from the Trump administration and trying to decide how to respond to what they see as dangerous ideas from the Make America Healthy Again movement.
