Here’s another one from our acoustic evening with the JAM Band at Six-Seventy on Oak Bar & Grill in Spruce Pine, North Carolina — “Good Ol’ Boys,” the Waylon Jennings classic made famous as the theme from The Dukes of Hazzard.
Jaren Robinson is on the cajon, Mark Robinson handles the lead vocal, Jody Lovelace is on lead guitar, and I’m back on the little Kala U-Bass Scout fretless bass ukulele. It may not look much like a conventional bass, but through an amp that little U-Bass can produce a surprisingly deep, upright-style sound that works really well with this kind of acoustic country music.
Just friends having some fun with an old favorite. Hope you enjoy it!
