As we made out way west, we stopped in the Phoenix area to visit family and camped at the White Tank Mountain regional park. The campground was pretty secluded with great hiking trails and plenty of saguaro cacti all around. While in the area, we also made a stop at the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix which also has a butterfly exhibit with more than 3,000 butterflies.
