DesTest Switch - AKA DesTestMax2 - A New C64 Diagnostic From Matt Desmond More Fun Retro 2025-01-09 | Matt Desmond, the amazing creator of DesTestMax, has been working on improving his amazing diagnostic cartridge with a clever addition. The original could only test the first 4k of RAM, which was all it could see in the special MAX mode that allowed it to test the memory even if all of the ROM IC's and CIA chips were missing or broken. But now this new version does all that the original does, but once that passes it moves into a new mode where it can test all the rest of the C64 memory. From Green to Gorgeous: The Ultimate Amiga 500++ Project Completed More Fun Retro 2024-09-05 | Making a perfect Amiga 500 from salvaged parts and amazing donations - Part 2!This time I put right a few annoying things from the first part of this build. The green keyboard PCB and stood out like a sore thumb, being visible right at the top of the machine through the lovely transparent case! As well as that I replaced the green trapdoor memory expansion with a nice purple one, and added a lovely transparent Retroradionics Arcader joystick to the mix. There is a bit more to do to this. But the bulk of the work is now complete. And the next thing to do with this machine is sell it to raise money for The Befriending Scheme!October the 19th will be the final day of the auctions. ZX MAX 128 ZX Spectrum Clone Build More Fun Retro 2023-09-14 | Building another Brand New ZX Spectrum for the charity fundraising.
