It's a reminder of how cruel the world they inhabit can be and what one must do to survive.Thais was epic enough to make subtitles in both English and Portuguese, that way the Brazilian fans can also enjoy the video more :D. Maggie Rhee Tribute || Now [TWD] Kekker 2022-04-24 | Song: NowArtist: ParamoreHey. It's been a while since I made a video. Maggie Rhee / Maggie Greene has been by far my favourite character in season 11, Lauren Cohan has been amazing and has given us some of the best scenes in years.I feel like this song perfectly describes Maggie's character in season 11, especially versus the Reapers and the Commonwealth. The whole premise of the song is about how you fight for love and aim for a better future for your loved ones. Just like Maggie is doing for Hershel and Hilltop. In the process Maggie did lose a lot of her loved ones, such as Beth, Glenn, Hershel and many others. This is why I contrasted the fight scenes with happy black and white scenes. To show the difference between what you fight for and what you can lose, including Maggie's own sanity and happiness by going down this dark spiral. I tried to mimick the ending of the 'Now' music video, by having the final scenes be those of people hugging, just like Hayley Williams did to her enemy, showing that love triumphs war and hatred.[The next part of the description is only Paramore references, read it at your own caution.]The reason I was away for a little while is because I've not been feeling the best. You could say I've been going through some 'Hard Times' and that I was kind of 'Caught In the Middle'. My love for Paramore has been helping me through it, though. 'It was a spark, but it was enough to keep me going'. I've been a fan of Paramore since 2005/2006 I believe, and 'after all this time, I'm still into' Paramore. Things are 'Looking Up' now though, so no need to worry about me. However I started to feel the 'Pressure' to upload a video, since time was ticking away. I've always wanted to edit 'Now', but I never really found a fitting character. I've played with the idea to use it for Octavia from The 100, but I didn't have the scenes. 'That's What You Get' when you don't have the episodes on your PC. Regardless, I'm happy I got to use it for Maggie now. Editing this video has been the most fun I've had with editing in recent years. Maybe I'll make a 'Part II' some day. I'd love to use more Paramore songs in the future, however the lyrics can be a bit tricky to make it work in a The Walking Dead context. I feel like 'Now' is 'The Only Exception', where the lyrics fit perfectly with TWD. There are quite a few parallels between Glenn and Negan, as you might be able to tell when you watch this video. The Transformation of the Governor Kekker 2021-12-10 | A tribute to the Governor from The Walking Dead, showcasing his evolution throughout the different seasons. David Morrissey did an incredible job with showcasing both the brutal and sympathetic sides of the Governor. Although I agree that the Governor got what he deserved in the end. I remember watching 'Too Far Gone' season 4 episode 8 for the first time. After he cut Hershel Greene's time short, I hated the Governor with such a burning passion and I was overjoyed when he finally took his last breath. After a couple rewatch sessions he grows more on you and you appreciate him more. He was an incredible villain, that you loved to hate. Philip Blake, or Brian Blake, whatever you prefer was one of a kind. Negan Tribute || Viva La Vida (I Used To Rule The World) [TWD] Kekker 2021-06-23 | Song: Viva La VidaArtist: ColdplayHey everyone! I'm back with another Negan tribute with the song 'Viva La Vida'. I'm a huge Coldplay fan and I've been wanting to edit more of their songs lately. So far I've used two Coldplay songs: Viva La Vida with Rick Grimes and Fix You with Daryl & Carol. I'm definitely planning on using more Coldplay in the future if you guys would like that.This song suits Negan perfectly; it's all about losing power and going from being the most important individual to just a regular citizen. The song is supposedly about Louis XVI, who was the last king of France and got executed during the French Revolution in 1793. Just like Negan he lost all his power and the people ended up despising him. During the execution of Louis XVI they would not allow him to finish his speech by playing drums quite loudly, which means we will never know what he wanted to say in his final moments. Thankfully Negan never got executed and Rick ended up saving his life, which allowed Negan to redeem himself during The Whisperer War. It was kind of tricky to work around that, since the lyrics do indicate eternal damnation, however I decided to make it so Negan feels as if he will have eternal damnation for his actions. Daryl Dixon Tribute || How To Save A Life [TWD] Kekker 2021-03-13 | Song: How To Save A LifeArtist: The FrayHey everyone, another Daryl Dixon edit here. This song just suits TWD and Daryl so well in my opinion. I adore the tone and the lyrics a lot and I figured it would be a nice idea to make a tribute to Daryl with it.I know that this means two Daryl tributes in a row, some people might not like that, but I feel like season 10 episode 18 'Find Me' had so much editing potential that I had to squeeze out one more Daryl edit, before going to the next project. And it's a nice present for the people that do love Daryl and can't get enough of him.I interpreted the song a bit broadly by replacing the word 'friend' with just 'a beloved person', which could mean anything from a brother, to a love interest to actually just a friend. I feel like that way I had a lot more creative room and I don't think it actually hurts the message of the song at all. For the 'friends' Daryl lost I put a lot of emphasis on Rick Grimes of course, as he was his closest friend that he would even refer to him as brother. Furthermore I focused on Merle Dixon, as that was his actual brother and he did care about him for obvious reasons. Can't go wrong with Beth Greene in a Daryl edit. And then Glenn Rhee, who unfortunately usually doesn't get a lot of attention in Daryl edits, for some odd reason. Besides that I of course have to include Leah, because she had some really touching moments with Daryl. I also included Denise, Henry and Connie. They weren't as big of an influence on Daryl, but still note-worthy in my opinion. This edit was inspired by two Shane Walsh edits I saw, one of which was apparently inspired by the other. I thought the thumbnail of the second one was done really cool with the text, so I figured it would be cool to make a little reference to that thumbnail with the way I structured my text in my thumbnail. I have been hesitant about the song for a long time, but ultimately I decided to go with an instrumental song, to make room for the quotes of Judith, Carl, Michonne and Daryl. You truly were able to elevate The Walking Dead to a whole new level of tv shows. And second thank you to all my subscribers who have supported me over the past year and a little beyond that. It’s really nice to see all the positive comments that stimulate me to make more content. This video is just as much for you as it is for mister Lincoln. In this edit I showcase the transformation / evolution / story of Rick Grimes. From season 1 episode 1: days gone bye, to season 9 episode 5: what comes after. Rick is the biggest character in TWD and thus he has the most story, of course I can’t show every single event he went through because that would just be ridiculous. I was forced to narrow it down to the most impactful moments that truly changed Rick into a whole new person. I hope I was able to capture his most important states of mind. For me Rick will always remain my favourite character in The Walking Dead. Even though we haven't seen him for like three years now, I'm still hoping he'll be back in the show, maybe for season 11. Daryl Dixon Tribute || Boulevard of Broken Dreams [TWD] Kekker 2021-01-13 | Song: Boulevard of Broken DreamsArtist: Green DayHello there, it's been a while since I made a Daryl Dixon edit, so here we are. I was originally making a Michonne tribute, but I got stuck on that one, so I'll finish it later. In this Daryl video I went with quite a famous song, that just fits Daryl's character perfectly, in my opinion. Loneliness is the central theme in this tribute, as would be expected with the iconic line "I walk a lonely road". I tried to gradually change Daryl's attitude in this video from preferring to be a loner like he was in season 1 and 2 to becoming a valuable member of The Walking Dead Family. A lot of the lyrics gets repeated quite often in this song and to prevent the tribute from getting stale I stopped just using the lyrics literally and took some more creative freedom with it. And tried to counter the "I walk a lonely road" line by showing his progression and transformation into the type of character that really cares about others. Which I mainly tried to showcase with some heartfelt scenes with Judith Grimes. Of course you can't get a Daryl tribute without touching the important moments such as: Rick Grimes' fake death scene, Beth Greene and Merle Dixon's death scenes. Unlike in other edits I tried to focus a lot more on the relationship Daryl has with Maggie, because I feel like that is one that is a bit underappreciated in the editing fandom. In 'A Certain Doom' I was almost certain he would die, especially when he was put in a cross position on the ground right before Maggie Rhee saved him. Seth Gilliam completely nailed in season 10, and overall in The Walking Dead. Hopefully this music video gives some extra love to our favourite priest.I thought this song suited him so perfectly because of how well the lyrics translate it to Gabriel. Over the course of the many seasons Gabriel's faith has been tested over and over again and at some points he was beginning to lose faith. Siddiq was family to him and after Dante killed him, Gabriel lost some of his family.
