Gohan gains the ability to break the traditional lite-medium-heavy chain on his normals, aka reverse beat. By far one of the sauciest combos, it also requires incredible dedication to master. So i've teamed with KenSura to bring you a one-of-a-kind Advanced Combo Rhythm Breakdown. The melody you're hearing was written by me, however, the rhythm is frame perfect with Ken's original input. i.e., what you're hearing is precisely when you'll need to press your inputs to perform this combo.The Combo is the music.I understand NumberPad notation can be scary for some people when you're first starting to play fighting games. But seriously, it is simple. Look at your computer, it's likely you have a numberpad (the rectangle of numbers unlocked by the NumLock button). These are the directional inputs that line up with fight stick notation, so we use them to indicate directional inputs. When you see the number 5, look at your numpad and realize 5 is at it's center. This is neutral. When you see 5 attached to a letter, don't press any direction.The rest goes as followed2 is down, 1 is down left, 4 is left3 is down right, 6 is right9 is up right, 8 is up (or jump), and 7 is up leftwhen you see " j " , it denotes that the action has taken place in the air, or during a " jump ". so j5L would just be a neutral lite, while airborne; etc.Now, DBFZ uses the lite medium heavy special inputs to donate attacks. If you turn notations on in training mode, you'll realize that the game color coded these inputs with specific colors. Lite is Blue, Medium is Green, Heavy is Yellow, Red is Special. When you see these together at the start of the video, that is DBFZ's way of notating SPARK activation, and how you'd do that traditionally on a fight stick. So take a moment to familiarize yourself with the directional inputs, and pay attention to which attack button they're tied too. This way, all consoles and PC players can speak a universal language. And make no mistake, it is a language, and will take time to attempt on the spot. My hope is that by using this videos' frame perfect audio, you'll begin using the melody to guide you on your search of gohan mastery.
