Even today my daughters still love Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood. When Fred Rogers spoke to Congress in 1969, they were again trying to slash public broadcasting. He delivered one of the most inspiring speeches in history, and helped secure $20M for public broadcasting. Yet again, it is under threat. Cutting non-commercial, educational television saddens me deeply. Therefore, I decided to explore how I could use my own resources to help create educational public broadcasting with my Live pottery demonstrations.
