Untrust Us [Animation Meme] (Flash Warning) Starcheopteryx 2022-07-05 | I'm pretty happy with how this turned out!I also tried a new workflow for this... and I'm pretty happy with it, I'll write the process in detail further down if anyone particularly wants to know.This was a fun project to work on! It's the finished YCH of an auction I hosted (youtu.be/qY9vH20Qypo), and the buyer ended up being an animator I'd been following for yeeeears, since I went by KomicKake, I think. So working on this felt oddly nostalgic!Go check them out! I also used the puppet tool for one small facial expression, and just the shape tool to make the star shape in the credits.Back over to Premiere to finish the credits, before nesting the whole timeline and adding a vhs filter to it.Maybe next time I'll try exporting the animation as an image sequence instead of a video, I hear that is a bit more efficient.

We were split into groups! my group decided to just split up and make an anthology film (our film topic was mushrooms) thats why the worm opens to black, I originally assumed it would be laid over another film for transition. It didn't end up that way, but my part is the same soAgain, this was made in the same made character animation first (all character animation was made in TVpaint 10, on 3's and 4's mostly, done straight ahead for most of it), then made the bg. this and Meet Me Inside both taught me to DO BACKGROUNDS FIRST.The last storyboard was a bit I was going to do, but I had worked so hard, animating for months on end, I decided to just submit the original film without the spore print bit. (I had gotten feedback from the tutor at the time, that it might be good to include more information about spore prints for those who weren't already into mycology), but i didn't know how to put that in without messing up the flow. I really wanted to go for the conversational, Midnight Gospel feel. So I was going for an Art Attack informational style thing... but I couldn't take animating anymore, so I cut it. The last semester has been really bad for my physical and mental health - and it's the first time in a long time I've gotten sick from stress. (Fun gross fact - when I was working on Pigeon for a school project, I worked so hard on it for so long, that I had caused a cyst near my tailbone to get infected. I experienced the most pain I have ever experienced, and had to go to the hospital. I was worried it was going to happen again this term.) So, I think the year out is needed while I work on myself. These characters belong to @storm-is-god who bought the auction! It's actually a really fun exercise and I learned about the programs I thought I already knew about. Cain - OC PMV Starcheopteryx 2020-11-22 | Well... It's been a while since I posted the storyboard! And I've teased this coming out for a while. Thanks to people keeping company on streams, I've had the motivation to actually get this done... Characters in order of appearance--Anise (she/her, blue cat with blue eyes, Root's mother)-Burdock (he/him, blue grey cat with big spot on face, Root's father)-Root (she/her, grey cat with stripes down the back)-Ginger (they/them, cat with heart on their cheek, Root's sibling)-Pyro (he/him, dark red wolf wit stripe down the back)-Ash (he/him, plain grey wolf with blue eyes, Pyro's brother)-Mesi (she/her, light grey wolf with grey splotches, Pyro's sister)I feel like the video is mostly self explanatory, but if you want more detail; Root lives in a huge group of cats, and her dad is the leader of them. Pyro was divided from his siblings near birth and is taken in by the cats, but eventually reconnects with Ash and Mesi. Pyro, Ginger, Ash and Mesi form a sort of friend group, which Root is envious of, as Pyro is basically her only friend.Root eventually snaps, and lures Ginger into the wild to kill them. She isn't close with her parents either, and decide to just take care of them, she gets that benefit of being leader after he dad after all. After taking down Burdock and Anise, Pyro comes across her, stunned. This was my first MAP in some years and hosting is pretty different from how it used to be. This was my first MAP with a discord server, and it made things soooo much easier. There was only one dropped/kicked part and that was because I never heard from the person since they didn't join the server, everything else ran pretty smoothly!Since this was my first MAP in a while, there were a couple of things I didn't do that are pretty standard now. It was pretty fun!So Max (small round one with the nose scar) got into a fight with Ayame (the most normal looking one) and lost, so his mom (with the giant face scar) tried to drown him cause she was pissed.Trance (long fur and under eye spots) blames Ayame for Max’s disappearance and Ayame seems flippant about it. They had been training with Pyro (the spiked wolf with the eyebrows and the stripe down his back) and they had been getting very aggressive.Max eventually shows up again, and there’s some complications that I won’t go into right now. ~ Glass (Hollyleaf, Warriors) AMV MAP Part 6 ~ Starcheopteryx 2019-05-20 | WHAT UP it's my first MAP part on my new channel!(It's gonna be followed by another one pretty soon, I also just finished a PMV part that's being edited right now!)Flaws was straight up one of my favourite MAPs, I get chills everytime I watch it! When Shelbae announced the sequel MAP, I knew I HAD to try for a part!I had a lot of trouble with this part, production wise. I had a very clear idea of the storyboard, but animating it gave me trouble. I restarted it about three times, because I just wasn't happy with how it was turning out! But then I started playing around with an angular style, which was faster to draw in and I kinda preferred the way it looked - so I managed to finish this in 3 days!Also I wanted to try putting the character + fandom in the title like Sagutoyas does, cause I imagine it's easier to search for and it looks a lot better than just "Glass Part 6"I'm sort of happy with how it turned out - I think it's probably the best part I've done in.. Maybe ever?
