Exploring Remote Villages in Uzbekistan: Hiking Nuratau Mountains 🇺🇿 Roots Abroad 2025-05-02 | In this travel vlog, we dive deeper into Uzbekistan’s hidden gem, the Nuratau Mountains, hiking from Sentyab to Majrum village. This off-road adventure showed us the lesser-known side of Uzbekistan, where mountain trails lead to remote villages filled with authentic charm. The hike was more challenging this time, especially on the aptly named “Mountain Goat Trail,” but the incredible views and the warm hospitality of the locals made it worthwhile. From exploring green oasis corners and massive ancient trees to cows roaming freely, this area of the Nurata Region was full of surprises. In Majrum, the locals welcomed us with open arms, dressing us up in traditional clothing and teaching us their dances.
