The Seal 5 DM-I sedan marks a milestone in BYD's lineup. Not only is it one of the most efficient cars we've ever tested, it's also one of the most affordable electrified sedans in the market. But just how efficient is it, really? Going around town is no small feat for any car when it comes to efficiency, so let's pit it against a rental e-bicycle and compare the costs. BYD’s Super DM-i system utilizes a gasoline engine to charge its batteries, an electric motor to turn its wheels, and a CCS2 plug for topping up the battery. With all of this combined, the BYD Seal 5 DM-i offers top-notch efficiency on the road.
