I just put brushes down on this little painting “By the Lake’s Edge” which depicts a quiet spot on Lake Wanaka…erm. Correction… Not so quiet spot.
This is right next to the “Wanaka Tree” which is probably the most instagramed tree in the world…throughout the year it’s crawling with tourists. They line up to get that magic shot with the tree reflecting in the water. Despite it’s popularity, I refuse to paint it. I guess I’m a tree snob! These trees right next to it are way better!
