Multiple stikes with the mace to his rips will kill the peasent. If the peasents are afraid and dont charge all at once the knight can take one after another and win the fight. The crossbow was jammed and I decided to take the Kriegsmesser, but the crossbow would´nt nessecary change the game, you still need a lucky shot and hit a weak spot with only one bolt. The force of the spears were high enough to make serious dents in my armour and upset my balance, even if the tips were blunt. Out of nine passes to shoot the scene from different camera angles, only one spear throw ended up in a gap in my armour and would have killed me with a sharp point. The spear hit my inner leg and left a big bruise. If it had been a sharp spear head, I would have bled to death. On all the remaining 8 passes, the spears slipped off my armour and did no significant damage.After the ambush and spear throwing we recorded 7 more duels. He is one of the best german longsword fencers and already won the german longsword titel in 2022. Yes I beat him with the Zweihänder / Montante a couple of times, but he is defenetly the fast and deadlier fencer with longswords. Nobleman of Novgorod vs Knight of the Holy Roman Empire Dequitem 2024-06-07 | Naugard is the old German name for the Rus kingdom of Novgorod. Novgorod is one of the oldest cities in Russia and traded extensively with the Holy Roman Empire in the 14th and 15th centuries. German clothing was the dress of the noblemen in Novgorod, but they had their own beautiful style of armour. My opponent in this duel is a harness fencer and reenacter of the late medival Novgorod. My armor is inspired by differend armor pieces of the Holy Roman Empire in the 15th century.After the shaft of my poleaxe broke in the first recorded fight of the day, I only had a one-handed sword and a dagger at hand, so we started another duel. The weapon combination is familiar from the character "Peacekeeper" in the game "For Honour".
