One dough. Two classic German cakes.
In this video, I'll show you how to make Butterkuchen (also called Zuckerkuchen), my grandmother's simple, buttery sheet cake. Then I take the same dough and turn it into Bienenstich, the popular German "bee sting cake" with its caramelized almond topping and creamy filling.
