In this series I take a friend's Airfix Panzer IV in 1/35th Scale and use it to test out some painting techniques to replicate a burnt out or knocked out Panzer IV in the Normandy campaign.

The model was a quick build out of the box with some Tamiya after market stick-on Zimmerit.

The objective was to test an airbrush for the base coats and have fun experimenting with various painting techniques and using Vallejo's Rust & Chipping set to recreate an oxidised appearance.
