CFA engaged 19 mobile bulk water carriers this season to assist our volunteers on the fireground. Each with the capacity to hold more than 20,000 litres, the bulk water carriers were strategically placed throughout Victoria to strengthen firefighting operations. Funded by the Victorian Government, the program enabled CFA volunteers to reload tankers with water closer to the fireground and return to action faster.
