The Lion King is coming back to Toronto in November 2024 for a Canadian sitdown production at the Princess of Wales Theatre. The show's original Toronto run began in 2000 at the same theatre, and ran for four years. Among the many Canadian theatre artists at the time who worked on the show, Anne Quart still works on it as part of the Disney Theatrical Group.
