Established in 1947 and located in the Badlands of North Dakota, Theodore Roosevelt National Park comprises of three units. In the south, we visited Roosevelt’s first home, the Maltese Cross Cabin. Then we drove to the Elkhorn Ranch Unit. Here we took the small hike to the ruins of the late President's home. Lastly, we ventured into the North Unit where we were caught in a traffic jam of bison and visited the cute critters of Prairie Dog Town. Join us as we explore this phenomenal treasure, and see what else we discovered.
