I also screwed up my splits twice. Once realizing I forgot to split after Mission Control, and again when I split too early after getting just two remotes in My Three Goons.
I decided against resetting if I failed the "All three remotes in one go" Tut TV route since I only see that being beneficial if I'm aiming for the World Record, but at the moment I'm currently looking forward to getting this run below the hour mark.
Originally discovered by ant ant (youtube.com/watch?v=MDgQA8FJQ8A), the PSX version of Gex 3's 2nd Secret Level (Braveheartless) has a rather well hidden room that seemingly can't be accessed by normal means. By utilizing a swim in the air glitch, it's possible to swim out of bounds to access a trigger that takes us to this room. One issue however with this method is that the room's geometry isn't properly loaded.
I've noticed while screwing around in Braveheartless with the swim in the air glitch, I can get the entrance to uncover itself. Currently, I'm unsure as to what causes this, but if the entrance is uncovered and the room is entered through properly, the level geometry unloads just fine.
This video is meant to demonstrate my lack of understanding on how to open the room legitimately, as well as visually demonstrate to the Gex Speedrunning community that it is actually possible to open a proper entrance to the room.
Sort of a sequel to a previous video I made (youtube.com/watch?v=CbLa-safsBU), this demonstrates how the PS2 release handles the Blind Big Brother crash I shared before on the PC release.

To preform this glitch, the player needs to have a save file where the Itchy & Scratchy ticket has not yet been purchased in Level 3 (located in the Android's Dungeon). Then, begin any mission and fail it while inside the Android's Dungeon. Once you fail, either choose the "NO" option when asked to retry or instead choose "SKIP". The game will crash shortly after the option is selected.
This seems to happen because Radical hacked in the Itchy & Scratchy ticket pretty badly, and the game seems to have trouble re-enabling it if you're right beside it.
This footage was recorded not only as an excuse to test my Diamond VC500 capture device, but also to demonstrate how the console releases handle game-crashes. It's slightly more amusing than how the PC release handles it, with the music looping the part right before it crashed over and over.
Note that this glitch must be preformed in a save file where the Itchy & Scratchy ticket has not yet been purchased. If the player has already obtained this from the Comic Book Guy, then the game will cancel the mission properly.
Still kind of crummy overall but I'm happy it's sub 1:10 now.
George unfortunately beat me to my bingo and I couldn't find a way to disqualify him, so sadly he wins this round.
Since I realize I didn't make it very clear, here are the five objectives I completed to obtain the Bingo:
- Drive the Tractor into the Tractor Beam.
- Finished L4M7 with the Malibu Stacey.
- Found and collected every item at Krustylu Studios (Level 6).
- Bought every Level 7 costume.
- Found all Level 5 gags.
This is the seed we used for the run:

The game is running on the PCSX ReARMed core from the stable 1.3.6 release of Retroarch. I believe it's the last stable release that still had this core available.
Contains random dumb things I did during a race we had on the public Donut Team Server (01.29.17). Was a really good race in the sense I didn't fail any missions or get busted, but there were a lot of dumb things I thought would be worth highlighting.
Dumb background music that I thought would add to the experience is Gex 3's "Fairytale TV":
youtube.com/watch?v=mteE1S20QPE
0:00 - 666 Coins and a wonderful race.
0:34 - Nearly failed Ketchup Logic.
1:30 - Kenny tries his hand at toilet humor.
2:53 - The luckiest Hit & Run ever.
3:14 - Mission selecting doesn't go too hot.
3:41 - Jesus.
3:36 - Failed Level 5 cutscene skip.
Very very close.
But not quite.
Using HENKaku to boot the system into IDU mode, however, it's possible to install the game's PKG and get it working. The Vita sees the game as a legitimate title, so HENKaku is not needed to actually boot the game itself. This probably means that updating to 3.61 would allow you to keep the game (provided it's on the memory card and properly backed up elsewhere), but I'm not risking my only system to try it at the moment.
A small tutorial explaining how this was done is available here. This tutorial assumes you are still on 3.60, have HENKaku installed, and have the IDU app released by xyzz. 3.61 users currently can not do this:

Depending on the demand, I'll look into writing a more in-depth tutorial.
Many thanks to the /r/vitahacks user who linked to the thread above! Very happy to confirm this works.
Excuse the somewhat poor playing, as I was playing through my Android tablet's camera, meaning the input is a bit trickier to time.
Here's hoping Sony eventually gets these games here in America.
This is a random game mode we randomly came up with while in a call. The goal is that one player drives the Honor Roller, and has to get to the other side of Level 7's map and touch the "green spot" (where the UFO is normally supposed to be - due to how it's handled, Lucas took it out, but the tractor beam ground texture is still there).
While the player is trying to get there, everybody else currently playing drives their car of choice and tries to stop me from getting there. Due to cars not being possible to destroy in this game mode, the most that can be done is pushing me off course or crashing into me, making me lose time. There's no real goal other than getting to the end and trying to beat "the current best time". I believe at the time I recorded this, the previous record was held by MACCA and was 1:40. This is me attempting to beat that.
As some personal advice, the Tire Fire shortcut is a lot shorter to use if you hit the right side of the ramp rather than hitting the middle. If done right, the car doesn't get as much air, but still has plenty to pass over the Tire Fire safely. This allows the car to land sooner and you usually stop near the trailer park shortcut. I think it saves roughly 2 to 3 seconds in-game time.
It's technically possible to get a much better than this time by abusing the Firetruck shortcut, but I decided glitching was a no-no this time around.
Since the missions are a bit brutal, I wanted to record footage to show that it's possible to complete both missions (The Paper Caper and Kenny's Task - Part Uno) without cheating.
Also kind of screwing around with OBS again. Apologies for the slightly cruddy quality.
And yes, the mod is incomplete and I apologize. I never fully finished it, but through some encouragement on our official Discord server I figured I'd share a largely unfinished release.
Credit to Gibstack (George Fullerton) for discovering the glitch.
To do it, start L1M5's premission, and run past the sofa trigger until you're on the left of the map. Then quickly run back to the door you came in and press and spam your action key and your enter key (in order to skip the cutscene). Make sure you're close enough for the "Press ACTION" message to pop up when near the door. If done right, you'll skip over the cutscene and get stuck in a weird never-ending mission briefing loop. I've also gotten another effect where it hangs on a "LOADING" screen with my mouse still visible, but I didn't capture it here.
No audio because NTRViewer can't capture that. Enjoy everything else though!
Basically Radical put an additional trigger right underneath the tunnel that leads to the Try-N-Save in L2M1, allowing those you to sort of skip the Skinner chase. This appears to be completely intentional and it's the only mission in the game that does this.
Here's a simple video showing Crash Bash running on the emulator. Incredibly slow, but it runs which is something I wasn't expecting to see!
My 3DS is an American New 3DS XL model with firmware 9.9.0 loaded onto it. The emulator was launched using smealum's Ironhax exploit.
To do it, simply have a save file that has Blind Big Brother unlocked, and start that mission. Then, rather than destroying the Power Couplings, drive away from the coupling locations until the region they're in is unloaded. Then, drive back, and you'll discover that the Couplings aren't there anymore. After about 10 seconds, the game will crash.
Uploaded as part of a community challenge on the Donut Team forums. A bit of a hard task because of the slightly different controls with this view, and the fact that the Duff Truck is so big that you can't see where you're going if the camera is facing the back end of the truck.
This is a version of Nerd Race Queen that I'm attempting to make harder or improve on for Project Donut, which is a mod project I'm now helping with.
What I want to improve on later:
The AI in the race I suppose could be improved.
The Cell Phone car always backs up at the start after the mission has been played once. He works fine the first time the mission has been played, but restarting or failing the mission causes this to happen. After this, he does get back into the race, however.
A timer needs to be added in the race, but it also needs to be possible for the Cell Phone/Nerd car to pass the finish line before the timer runs out.
However, changing e3m1 to m5 so it reads "SelectMission("m5")" (Without the quotation marks at the beginning and end), and replacing it with the regular m5i.mfk file allows the mission to be playable, and is completable.
Differences:
The countdown at the start of the mission is completely missing.
The time provided is now much larger than the final version. You're given around three minutes, and the time you're given after completing a certain objective is now added to your time. As a result, the E3 version is much easier.
Apu's car AI is different. He instead uses the "Easycop" AI (directory: "Pursuit\Easycop.con") as opposed to having his own AI for this mission.
Better Than Beef's song for the pursuit when Apu arrives that is later heard again in This Little Piggy and Curious Curator doesn't play. Instead, Cletus' song continues to play throughout the whole mission.
You now have to talk to Cletus after you drive back to the Krusty Burger, as opposed to the conversation happening automatically.
Besides this, the dialogue and the actual mission objective remains the same.
Want to try it yourself? Follow the instructions above, and enjoy! I can also upload the edited mission file to try out for yourself.
As a way to try out as to what I can do, I decided to try to mod Bonestorm Storm to make it harder. Probably not Project Donut hard, but I'm pretty satisfied as to how it turned out.
Differences:
- The amount of Bonestorm boxes has increased. As opposed to the usual 10, there are now a total of 15.
- The timer has been decreased heavily. The player is now only given sixty-one (61) seconds to clear the level. It should normally be only 60, but the game adds an extra second to certain timers for some reason, and I'm too lazy to change it. I think the game crashes as well if it's put to low, but that may be because I have messed with something else that caused me to restart.
- I tried increasing the speed of the truck a bit by modifying the "GasScale". I don't know if it did anything, but there may be a small speed increase.
To do:
- I want to add a "chase" scene that occurs as soon as you get back to the Simpsons house. I need to figure out as to how adding one works. I had some varying success when I was modding "Nerd Race Queen", but I only saw the chase bar for a second.
- Add a second vehicle that you have to destroy? May make the mission a bit more interesting.
Anyway, please enjoy the video! The download link is now available if you want to try this harder mission for yourself. Just follow the instructions inclosed in the txt file to add it to your game. Be sure to make a backup of the files you are replacing if you want to keep the original mission:

If for whatever reason you have issues downloading the attachment, or you can't access the forums, you can also download it on my Mediafire account. However, downloading from the forums will be quicker, especially in the future if there are more missions you see that look interesting.

This is the extremely catchy remix of "Jingle Bells" used in the Christmas Special. Note that there aren't any other variations of this remix, regardless you of how many presents you have, so this is the only version present in the game. Also note that all of the songs are in .ogg format.
This is basically an upload to show I'm not dead. Lazy, but not dead. I promise to get that tutorial up soon, and try to get back on track with my CBFD uploads.
If you want to extract the music for yourself, you can use the program I used, Unity Assets Explorer, right here:

Original Description:
....lolwut.
Yeah, they implemented a new saving feature in this version....and it doesn't work. The player falls outside the map after resuming a game, so the player has to complete the game in one sitting. My best guess is that they placed the spawn point too low by accident.
Hopefully, they'll fix this. But, at the moment, just though I'd upload this to demonstrate the bug.
Played in Noob mode, and only the first scrap is collected to demonstrate the bug. It doesn't matter how many scraps the player gets, it seems.
I had to get the other parts of the countdown (Parts 1 - 6) from Slippytoad's gamerip, as the .USF rip didn't have these songs. The very last one, however, was taken from the .USF gamerip.
Note that the part where you're on the beach (Countdown - Beach Escape) isn't included, due to the fact I consider it a separate song.
I've been needing to upload this for sometime, so here it is.
A quick poop I whipped up last night. Don't expect too much.
- The player can only walk. You cannot run at any point, regardless if this is being done to speed up the page collecting process, if the Slender Man is nearby, to get out of the city quickly, or if you're really that bored.
- As soon as the game begins and the player is given control of the character, the flashlight must be turned off and must stay off.
- Complete the game as usual (8/8 pages and escape the city) under these conditions.

7th Street was the first map I ever actually completed in the Slender Man's Shadow series. It's pretty much the easiest in the whole series, too. For one thing, the page locations aren't random like they were back in Hospice, meaning you can follow this path and complete the game every time. This challenge does offer a little more difficulty, but not much. On the bright side, I thought the map looked really cool. On a random note, most of the time Slender Man WON'T appear behind you when you grab the fifth page, he only spawns there if you take too long in the area with the page. I wish I would've completed the game without him popping up once, but oh well. I also apologize for bumping into objects from time to time, as some things were hard to see without the flashlight.

Sanatorium was a bit hard to complete under these conditions, and it's the first map I'm uploading of myself completing under these rules. The main problem was getting Slender Man to go away if he spawns near the broken pipe after grabbing the fifth page. From my knowledge, you HAVE to go through the hallway with the broken pipe. If you turn around and go through the alternative passage right behind you, Slender Man WILL appear behind you and get you at around 3:30.
I'm also certain that there's a safer passage to all of the eight pages, but this one works and I'm still able to complete the game.
If anybody can find a faster path, feel free to create a response video showing you completing the game under the same conditions with a faster time.
