AUDIO: Judge finds ‘extraordinary circumstances’ in Chad Daybell case, grants attorneys more time

diffiCULT Research 2024-08-31 | ST. ANTHONY — A judge has found there are “extraordinary circumstances” in Chad Daybell’s case and granted his appellate attorney’s request for more time in filing for post-conviction relief.

During a hearing Wednesday morning, Judge Steven Boyce heard argument from Ian Thomson, one of Daybell’s three Idaho appellate public defenders. The judge denied a request to allow video or still photographers in the courtroom and the hearing was not livestreamed on his YouTube channel.

Daybell said nothing during the hearing as he appeared via Zoom from the Idaho Maximum Security Institution in Boise wearing a dark green jumpsuit.

Thomas listed multiple reasons why more time is needed to effectively file for post-conviction relief, which is a process wherein a defendant asks the court to vacate or modify a judgment of conviction, or to reduce or modify a sentence.

Glenn Beck owns Blaze Media/Blaze News, where his staff member did a big piece on Janet Russon back when the SHTF (late 2023) and around the beginning of the article, dropped a link to government (3 letter agency that starts with the letter “C”) study on “Remote Viewing”. I know, I know. Super sketch and allegedly our govt wrote it off saying the parapsychological experiments just weren’t accurate and consistent enough, yet there’s a plethora of accounts stating otherwise just within those reports. Not to mention MK Ultra, Project Bluebord, Stargate, etc they claim to have stopped experimenting on human lives long ago. (Pfhhh).

Anyway, with Thom’s highly influential& super sus book, Visions of Glory, just from the excerpts I’ve read so far, seem to be less of Thom writing about his alleged NDE’s & more like his Remote Viewing escapades. Either way, she is communicating messages from upper management from here on this earth (her leaders imo) to help her, Ken Krogue, & Thom Harrison try to make the next Mormon Presidential Candidate (much like what was done witb Romney (if you recall, Elder Ballard went along woth Mitt on his 2012 Presidential Campaign). Utah mom accused of poisoning husband, Khouri Richins-Preliminary Hearing-Day One

A Utah mom who wrote a grief book for (her) chilldren, Khoiuri Richins is accused of poisoning her husband Eric Richins. Today, the judge will hear from 3-4 witnesses, which could span into tomorrow, to see if there is enough evidence to forward to a jury trial.

During Wednesday’s status hearing, it was revealed prosecutors intend to call four or five witnesses throughout the preliminary hearing. The defense meanwhile plans to call one or two witnesses.

Richins is scheduled to appear in a multi-day preliminary hearing starting Monday morning, Aug. 26. She faces a first-degree felony aggravated murder charge and attempted criminal homicide among other charges of drug distribution, fraud, and forgery in connection to the death of her husband, Eric Richins.
The main concern presented by Judge Richard Mrazik surrounded out-of-court statements provided by two witnesses who may be called to the stand during the hearing. The two witnesses reportedly provided statements about conversations with Eric just months before his death when he first claimed Kouri was attempting to poison him.

Kouri’s new defense attorneys, Kathy Nester and Wendy Lewis, objected to various parts of the statements, claiming they were not reliable hearsay and should not be admissible.
Judge Mrazik overruled the defense’s objections for the sole purpose of the upcoming preliminary hearing. Mrazik, however, agreed with the defense that they reserve the right to object to the statements outside of the preliminary hearing.

Nester then requested Richins to appear in the courtroom without being in handcuffs as she has in previous hearings. In her request, Nester said “We, as a defense team, do not feel any threat. We feel very safe sitting next to her.” She also said the bindings would make it difficult for Richins to take notes during the hearing and would be a distraction for the defense team.
Mrazik did not offer a ruling on whether or not Richins would be free of handcuffs during the multi-day preliminary hearing. He first wanted to consider the request with the Summit County Sheriff’s Office before making a decision.

It has been more than a year since Richins was initially arrested and charged with the murder of her husband. Legal hold ups including controversy over the now-infamous “Walk the Dog” letter as well as a change in attorneys for Richins have prevented the case from going to a preliminary hearing thus far.

And just to make myself clear as to my views on Emma and all of the other Daybell children, I have given them the benefit of the doubt the entire time up until the day they testified and imo, lied not only for the Lord, but for their own father. I was extremely disappointed and even angry at the things they deliberately testified to just to throw their dad a lifeline when in fact, he would never do the same. But my heart broke for Tammy as well as both sides of their extended families who had to have experienced another loss that same day they testified. Murder is messy and the ripples never find a place to be calm. I'm sure I will get over it one day but until then, I think about Tylee and JJ and how NO ONE EVER THOUGHT ABOUT PROTECTING THEM. #lovealwayswins
