This was on June 27th 2026, I am investigating a story of An ex-Peabody police officer, Alex Nirgianakis, who is currently a fugitive from justice on the run in Greece. Through public record of different court dockets and filing I founs out that his family owns a roast beef restaurant in Wilmington Massachusetts. I also found out that he worked there as recent as the summer of 2024. Because of this finding I decided to go to his family's restaurant and get some b-roll footage, but in under 3 minutes Alex's brother Mario came out to confront me.
By May of 2025 he was On the run and being tracked by NEMLEC/SWAT is the North Shore of Massachusetts for A+B ON A HOUSEHOLD MEMBER and possibly holding his wife (the victim of the A+B) against her will. He eventually turned himself in and was incarcerated. In July of 2025 he plead guilty to 2 counts of A+B ON A HOUSEHOLD MEMBER. He was released from jail in October of 2025 and put on probation with very loose terms (no GPS, no drug or alcohol testing). In December of 2025, while on probation, Alex sold his truck and fled the United States for Greece.
His wife contacted the Peabody Police Department twice requesting welfare checks because she was attempting to determine Alex’s whereabouts. She subsequently obtained the body-worn camera footage from these contacts. The footage shows his mother telling police that Alex was in a psychiatric hospital, despite the fact that he had already fled to Greece on December 11.
Allegedly the Essex County DA's office and his probation did not know until June 2026 that he fled to Greece. He now a fugitive from justice and being investigated for other crimes against his wife. I am working on gathering more information and making a video specifically about ex-Peabody police officer Nirgianakis and his multiple arrests/runins with police, when he was still a cop and after being fired and de-certified by the POST Commission.
This family seems to resort in violence very quickly as Alex was convicted of beating his wife and the short clip depicted in this video shows. I have seen so many pics/videos of other incidents that are even worse. Then you have his brother wanting to go hands on with ne for filming from public and even threatening me in front of the cops.
