Botox is not the only way to treat TMJ pain. 💉
In my practice, I focus on identifying the root cause(s) - which are typically muscle dysfunction and/or disc displacement. Treatment includes custom Neuromuscular TMJ Orthotics, Disclusion Time Reduction (DTR) Therapy, hands-on muscle release and jaw manipulation, laser therapy, Transcutaneous Electrical Neural Stimulation (TENS), and more!
There are many paths to relief.
I also love seeing patients explore tools at home. Thank you to @devonKelley_ on TikTok for sharing how gua sha and facial massage have helped reduce your TMJ discomfort. 🙌
