Whew, made it! I had given myself the challenge of completing OP8 Solo DigiPeak as Axton without using any Red Text, Unique or Legendary Gear. It took me a while, but it got done.
Because I farmed for my gear using both the Torgue vending machines (Torgue DLC) and the Mercenary Day DLC, it took me a week or so to get the gear I needed. There were still weapons that I wanted to get (like Fire+Corrosive Vladof Snipers and Fire+Shock Vladof Topneaas), but I was tired of all the farming. I just wanted to get it done.
The run itself went really well. For the most part, I didn't get too many nasty spawns (like all 4 Assassins at once or the 3 Doc Mercys with a Constructor), but there WERE a few times when I noticed something weird that happened (like 1 of the Scorches disappearing and 1 of the Black Queens not wanting to fight). Pretty strange, but I'm DEFINITELY not complaining, since it made it easier for me!
