If your BMW i4 suddenly displayed a “Replace battery” warning today, you’re not alone.

For a few worrying seconds, I genuinely thought my high-voltage battery had failed… but it turns out BMW have confirmed it’s a software issue displaying the warning incorrectly.

Hopefully this saves a few other owners from a moment of panic!
