The new owners have not announced what will happen to the property.

St Marks Lighthouse WFSU TV FloridaNature 2016-08-31 | The St. Marks Lighthouse is visited by the Florida Lighthouse Association on April 12, 2008. WFSU TV of Tallahassee Florida was there to report on the event. It's now August 30, 2016 and the lighthouse is now owned by the US Fish and Wildlife Service. Restoration is now underway.
