The object of Body Slam: Super Pro Wrestling is to defeat your opponent in the ring. You must use strength, strategy, and a hint of sneakiness. Each match consists of a series of four-minute rounds. There is an unlimited number of rounds, so the match continues until a player wins or until a draw is declared. The first wrestler to pin his opponent to the mat for a time of 3 seconds is the winner.
You control a wrestler selected from 12 different characters. Your opponent is controlled by another player or by the computer. If you choose a Tag-Team Match you and your opponent each control 2 wrestlers who take turns in the ring.
There are 26 possible moves - drops, kicks, punches, etc. Before each match, you choose 4 to 9 moves (depending upon your selected skill level) that you will use in that match. How many moves you can make during the match is determined by your selected skill level: the lower the skill level, the fewer the moves. Players may select different skill levels to handicap the match. The 12 wrestlers you have to choose from, have their relative strengths and weaknesses depending from their height, weight, strength, coordination, and ego.

The Intellivision Sprint is the premiere console by Atari in the long legacy of the Mattel Intellivision. After 5 years of false starts and vaporware from the previous owners of the Intellivision brand, the former competitor has united fans and delivers a solid entry.
Featuring 45 fan-favorite games and lots of technical upgrades, the Intellivision Sprint released in December 2025.
The Mattel Intellivision originally released in 1979 as a direct competitor to the Atari 2600, the Intellivision sparked a legendary rivalry that became known as the First Console War. Intellivision offered contemporary players more realistic sports games, richer graphics and unique controllers.
Created in collaboration with PLAION REPLAI, the new Intellivision Sprint has an authentic design, with the original’s gold and black surface and wood grain front. Technical upgrades include two wireless controllers, HDMI output and a USB-A port for library expansion.
The 45 built-in games represent the Intellivision’s competitive edge in sports and strategy games. Highlights include the sports games Baseball, Chip Shot Super Pro Golf, Soccer, Super Pro Skiing, Tennis and Super Pro Football, and strategy games B-17 Bomber, Sea Battle, Space Battle, and Utopia. Fan-favourite arcade games include Astrosmash, Shark! Shark!, Star Strike, with Thin Ice and Boulder Dash rounding out the collection. Two controller overlays are included for every game in the collection.
“We’re thrilled to celebrate Intellivision’s 45th anniversary, and what better way to honour it than by bringing back this innovative console for fans to experience once again?” said Matt Burnett, VP of Strategic Operations at Atari. “Becoming caretakers of such an important brand is both a big responsibility and a very fun expansion of our work at Atari.”
Atari set off with a major initiative to expand on the legacy of Intellivision through the landmark acquisition of the Intellivision brand and the lion’s share of the game catalogue in 2024. Since then, ‘The First Console War’, an expansion for the Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration collection has been released, and now, the Intellivision Sprint begins Atari’s journey with Intellivision hardware.
