TF2: Trade Servers in 2018 Aar 2018-07-17 | My first year+ with Team Fortress 2 was spent almost exclusively on trade servers. These servers typically run some variant of trade_plaza or trade_minecraft, maps with no objective or end goal whatsoever, and were home to lots of players who simply got picks on each other over and over until they got hundreds of points and gradually left the server. I was one of these players when I started getting into TF2, not knowing the value of items or doing any trading, despite the original intentions of the servers.
