Day 19
The fight with the monster was horrible! I had to use the whip to get all the way to the top and once I did, it wasn't quite a plant monster. It looked more like a giant octopus. It was covered in thorns though. I was able to use the whip to grab its thorns and stun it. That allowed me to get a few hits in, but the monster dove right back into the water and wouldn't come out. Its tentacles kept trying to hit me!
I got smacked pretty hard by one of the tentacles and nearly fell off. I managed to use the whip to grab one of the tentacles and got back up. That gave me the opportunity to get one last hit in since the monster came back up to see if I was still there.
With the monster destroyed, a blue force gem appeared and rested on a pedestal. The tracks to the Tower of Spirits were restored.
We stopped in Papuchia Village for a while. Zelda figured it wouldn't hurt to get supplies before we went to the Tower of Spirits. It seems some people here need some help. I wonder if we can get more force gems here.
