This Termite mound is huge; it's hard to imagine how many termites built this massive structure. They live in a tough environment with wet seasons and dry seasons, and still manage to build this. I am lost for words.
Seeing a termite mound this big was not on my bucket list, but now seeing it and sitting, thinking about how it was built. It's just amazing, and I think if you think that way too, this definitely is one of those things you need to see in person. If I sound a bit amazed, I am.
These Termite mounds are called Cathedral mounds, and they are located in the Kakadu National Park, Northern Territory, Australia.
