Our search for an abandoned mine led us to the top if a mountain, 8,000 feet above sea level. While not the highest I've been, it is certainly the highest I've been to search for a mine.
Along the way, we find some cool stuff, include a large ore bin, and a set of mine cart tracks leading to seemingly nowhere! Then, on our way back down the mountain, I experience a first for me in my Jeep.
Unfortunately, much of the audio for the first part of the video was lost...due to the fact that I'm still getting used to my new microphone and forgot to turn it on (I've brought shame upon my entire family). I wasn't sure how to handle it, so I ended up doing a combination of voice-over and music. I hope you like it!
