The Bhagavad Gita (Sanskrit: भगवद्गीता)
In this chapter Lord Krishna talks about the ancient tradition of yoga.
He also speaks about the principle of his incarnations. Whenever there is the decline of Dharma, of righteous conduct, and adharma or unrighteous conduct increases, when sin and sinful conduct dominate, then the Lord takes on a human body, he is born into this world.
To protect the good and to destroy the sinful, and to re-establish Dharma the Lord appears in human form again and again. He also tells about action, non-action, inaction, and selfless action, about various sacrifices described in the scriptures and the destruction of all sins on attaining knowledge of Brahm, the Supreme, the Absolute
