Motor swap on my big belt grinder to install a huge 4.4Kw (5.9hp) three phase motor controlled via VFD to enable speed controls.
The dial I made reads "surface feet per minutes" SFPM, calculated from wheel diameter and motor speed (RPM). Belts of different grits and grit kind come with suggested SFPM for best performance and longevity.
