Our latest Beige Book report highlights the latest positives and negatives in the current Ninth District economy. Positives: Employers adding new, full-time, permanent positions, unemployment claims are down, manufacturing and construction activity is up. Negatives: Some sectors are seeing weak wage growth, rising cost of living continues to be a concern, a growing reliance on credit and borrowing.
