In this video, we discover a cute masterpiece of rail transport modeling built by the German railway modeller Ansgar Meyring in N gauge (1/160 scale). This beautiful model railway layout depicts a fictional junction station located on a single-track branch line somewhere in the countryside. This micro train diorama is set during the 1950s to 1970s of the German State Railways (“Deutsche Bundesbahn”), when steam and diesel locomotives still dominated passenger and freight traffic.
The diorama is designed to highlight its rural character. Abundant natural elements and a fitting background photo complete the overall impression of this miniature world. Viewers see a nostalgic branch-line station set in an idyllic, early-autumn landscape. It’s truly amazing how many details can be spotted on the model railroad layout: The historic phone booth behind the station, the classic semaphore signals, and the many yellow leaves scattered across the station building’s canopy immediately catch the eye.
