Here's Devlog 1 of this fantasy metroidvania, where you play as Eric on a quest to find his lost friend, originally won the Metroidvania Month Game Jam and continues to be enjoyed by players five years later.
In this remake, I'm addressing past design issues, expanding the game world to 35 areas (with optional zones), introducing multiple endings based on your choices, and enhancing the storyline to emphasize the theme: "Nothing is black or white; don't judge too fast."
To stay motivated and keep you updated, I'll be sharing regular Dev Logs documenting the development process. Currently, the character controller is complete, zone transitions are functional, and the combat system foundation is set—all built within Unity.

During the whole tutorial I will do my best to share as much knowledge, skills, tips and tricks as I can. This is definitely not ‘complete beginner’ tutorial, however I did my best to explain as much details as I can so you can follow around.
