H.E.R.O. (C64) - THSC submission for season 11 Big Juffer 2025-09-21 | Hey hey - this last couple of weeks in the Tuber's High Score Challenge we've been playing the utterly horrible H.E.R.O. on the C64. Rules were a 1CC was awarded for completing level 20, with the game limited to the next 10 levels after that. So a 30 level challenge. I couldn't face playing it as I hated it soooo much, but did ok in the end getting the 1CC and to level 27 before my will to live completely died. No daft intro - this game doesn't deserve it...

Blood Bros (THSC entry) + game breaking bug Big Juffer 2025-08-17 | Hey hey - another entry in the THSC, this time it's Blood Bros in the Arcade, and I think I've found a game breaking bug. Can't find any mention of it on the internet... so name it the Blood Juffers bug. It looks like the game can only handle a set amount of sprites on screen at once. On level 1-2 there are trees that you can shoot to give 20k bonuses (and the trees don't get destroyed - important!). I think the buildings also count to the sprite count, so if you destroy stuff only on the right hand side of the screen, eventually the game can't spawn the bird to kill you with the expiring time limit. Infinite points a go go.It's a bit cheeky but as I discovered it I'm entering it :)
Star Force core on the MiSTer Big Juffer 2025-08-17 | Hey hey - just a quick no frills run on Star Force, which has to be one of my most favourite games ever. I remember being in the arcades in Mablethorpe as a kid and being on this for aaaaages. I could make a pound's worth of 10p's last all day between this and a few other cabs. Anyway this is a pure kick to the nostalgia for me - so thought I'd post a quick run. I think the sideways scrolling is a bit off and needs a bit of work, and no matter what I try I can't pull off the 50k bonuses... but it still rocks :)
