Luigi's At The Beach off Mission Boulevard in San Diego, California challenges teams to finish a massive 30-inch pizza in under one hour. Complete the challenge and you walk away with free pizza, t-shirts, and your photo on their Wall of Fame. Fail, and you're paying for the entire meal. My teammate @FreakEating and I went with a half mushroom, half green pepper for our pizza.
Also attempting the challenge were fellow food fighters, Randy Santel, Erik The Electrik, Raina Huang, and Kevin Ross! The restaurant was packed with competitive eaters and regular customers watching multiple teams take on the challenge!
