If you are planning long-distance motorcycle travel and want a clear, structured understanding of what it really requires, I organized everything into my course “Adventure Riding WITHOUT Illusions.”
It brings together the physical cost, mental pressure, money decisions, planning traps and long-term sustainability behind serious motorcycle travel, based on more than 400,000 km across multiple continents.

If you travel by motorcycle, sooner or later, something will go wrong.
When that happens, basic mechanical skills can decide whether your trip continues - or ends.
In this video, I talk about the basic mechanical skills every motorcycle traveler should know.
Not workshop-level repairs, not theory — just real, practical things that actually matter on long trips and remote roads.
You don’t need to be a mechanic.
But you do need to understand your motorcycle and know how to deal with simple problems yourself.
In this video:
• fixing a flat tire (tubes and tubeless)
• chain lubrication and adjustment
• basic electrical checks (battery, fuses, lights)
• air filter inspection and cleaning
• brake pad inspection and replacement
• oil changes on long trips
• spark plug basics
These are skills I’ve learned from real-world travel, not from forums.
