Malice Mizer is one of my favorite bands. While not super popular in the states, they were a hugely influential gothic rock band from Japan who helped pioneer the "Visual Kei" genre of music and fashion. Their blending of classical music with heavy rock elements are right up my alley. I was thrilled to invite some of the best musicians I know to help me bring this full English version to life, and I'm super proud of what we did. Performed live in New York City.
