Banggood B-787 Assemble and Test Flight
In this video I will unbox, assemble and test fly the Banggood B-787 radio control model airplane.
The Banggood B-787 is made from very resilient foam and the total plane plus batter weighs around 2.5 ounces, a very light weight. All components come with the kit with the exception of three AA batteries for the transmitter.
The kit has a nice paint job and surface finish. Directions are complete with color pictures, and clearly show the construction sequence. The plane was fully assembled in 40 minutes.
The B-787 uses three channels of radio control. Note also the included transmitter is on 2.4 GHz, so no worries about frequency deconfliction. Control is an embedded servo for the elevator, throttle control via the electronic speed control and turns are thru differential thrust from the two pusher props. Fixed landing gear is also included and I recommend using the gear to prevent prop strikes on the ground.
The B-787 flies exceptionally well. Test flights were conducted by myself and fellow RC pilot Ron, and we were both impressed with the smooth handling of the aircraft and smooth flight controls. In addition there was plenty of thrust for all normal flight maneuvers.
