Science in Sci Fi is generally so bad it's a running joke in fandoms. But that's okay. Sci Fi isn't meant to be scientific, it's meant to make us imagine moral dilemmas in societies with different capabilities than our own, and to satirize/comment on our current society. So the technobabble doesn't need to be perfect. That said, it shouldn't be lazy. Also, this is now a stan channel for The Expanse, Astra's favorite Sci Fi show.
