After 1.5 years of full-time solo female travel around the world, I'm finally back in the UK! 🇬🇧💛 And this homecoming is filled with family reunions, emotional moments, unexpected decisions and some big life updates.
Welcome back to Nan With a Backpack! After travelling the world as a solo female backpacker, coming home to the UK has been a whirlwind of emotions. Reuniting with family and friends after so long has been beautiful, emotional and a little bittersweet. And the moment I hugged my grandson Noah again? Absolutely priceless. 🥰
In this personal travel vlog, I'm sharing what it's really like returning home after long-term travel, reconnecting with loved ones and reflecting on the life I've built as a full-time traveller.
But this UK visit also marks a big change in my digital nomad lifestyle. I made the difficult decision to sell my car, something I never imagined doing. But when you're living out of a backpack and travelling the world full-time, does keeping a car really make sense?
