Blackmagic PYXIS Cinematographers First Impressions - This feels like Arri.. Brady Bessette 2024-10-14 | Do not sleep on this PYXIS. As a DP, I used it on a PROPER film set, and am genuinely very impressed. From image, to ergonomics. I'm not saying it's a replacement for an Arri, but I am saying it feels more like one than any other system I've used. Behind the scenes and footage is all from the film "JULESBURG", that I DP'd up in Montana over the last week. The footage is graded quickly by me and not final. Hopefully this short will become a feature, so stay tuned for much more.
