Today we are testing the route with oncoming train traffics. Its very difficult to have the exact timings with the trains on the long railroad. The cats are also present and we have also a very close encounter with Cheddar, the cater. He loves blocking the Lego trains! After two years of hard work, the Lego workers got new and very modern equipment and in the largest scale which is available on the markets. Cat(erpillar) was yesterday, the new stuff is made from the Elephant Series! :-DWe have now all what we need: mobile cranes, cement mixers, bulldozers and three differnet types of excavators. LEGO Garden Railway Construction Timelapse - Part 2: Segment Upgrade for the Exit at Bridge No.2 GardenBrickTrain 2025-12-13 | With this video I like to show you how the Lego railway is constructed step by step. The segment of the exit at bridge no.2 (at the hillside) needs also new and better fundament for the trackbeds. Due of much erosion on this point with additional damages from the earthworms, I decided to give this segment as well a nice concrete layer for the trackbed. At the very beginning I haven´t used this kind of concrete fundaments. But later it turned out, that a concrete layer with 2-3 cm benath the gravel is a great solution against the earthworms and erosion. LEGO Train 7740 - OnBoard Testdrive in the Middle of the Night... GardenBrickTrain 2025-08-10 | The legendary Lego Train 7740 is now underway and under testing conditions in the middle of the night.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------There are a lot smaller problems, which wanted to be detected: at first we tested new train lights with a longer range. But it turned out that we have now a small tunnel view, which must be of course improved. At next, we have tons of snails on the tracks, which are very annoying and slimy. The traingears are getting very dirty with the time and they need a good cleanout after. My neighbours cat was also hunting the train, so be prepared! :-))Whats new: around 50 new signals along the track and the CMC is already particually illuminated. LEGO Tunnel Boring Machine TBM - A Worker Inspection for the future Coal Mine GardenBrickTrain 2025-03-28 | The big LEGO Garden Railway Project goes on!Heavy machineries are arriving at the main freight hub! A large Lego tunnel boring machine (TBM) has been delivered and will be soon transported to the new construction site at the coal mine complex. Its the largest construction site ever and we need extra heavy machineries for that giant project. The TBM will be needed at first for a new and long tunnel, which must be tunneled along a terrace, which supports a freight loading section. And after that, we need to bore two deep tunnels into the mountain, for the coal mines.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The TBM was made out of the Lego technic set 42055 (Bucket Wheel Excavator) and is a MOC from rebrickable. LEGO Cargo Train 60052 and 60098 - Progress of the High-Speed Railway Segment - Construction Part 17 GardenBrickTrain 2024-09-11 | The big LEGO Garden Railway Project goes on!Both Lego cargo trains 60052 and 60098 were today coupled together for a new supply for the workers on the construction site at the new high-speed railway segment. A big money delivery was also made, to fill up the ticket machines at the new train station 60335. Thw workers were also in need of some gas for the welders and power cables for more upcoming infrastructure.
