Quite a large amount of twist and turn happens, as well as some revelations.
In the video there's an explanation of how the roles work. I will just state the risks that each role has. Commoner doesn't have perks with it, thus, perfectly safe to vote for. Keymaster is basically invincible. If people think you're the Keymaster, you can't lose. In this case, by claiming himself to be the Keymaster, Sou narrowly makes everyone avoid voting for him. Sage is a Commoner who knows about the identity of the Keymaster. Sounds good, but the risk of this role is notably high. After revealing the identity of the Keymaster, the Sage is useless and become perfectly safe to vote for. In this case, poor Kai became a target due to uncertainty about the rest of the cast's roles. Sacrifice is a very trashy role. You either kill everyone and escape with one person or die. You have to make yourself suspicious. Which is extremely hard, since there's a high chance of backfire.
Okay, let's talk about Kai. He is Sara's homemaker. He was asked to protect Sara, that's why he kept following her like a stalker. When Joe claimed that he saw the stalker, it might have been Kai, since he never knew Kai to begin with (not even Sara knows of him as her homemaker!). Joe might have always known that Kai was the person following Sara but he kept quiet due to being wary, I think. Anyway, Kai certainly has ties to the mastermind, he stated as much. Due to him knowing too much, he was manipulated to be voted for in the Main Game by the mastermind, that's my theory anyway.
And Joe... I still want to suspect him. Even after his death. Call me stubborn if you want, but that Sacrifice role is either too trashy or too convenient. I mean, Mishima died meaninglessly, but that's due to them not paying attention. This role is straight-up a death sentence, unless you're a psychopath. One more thing, why was his card under the table where the laptop was? If that isn't proof he had gone to the hidden room to do something I don't know what else. He also knew about the pattern on the Keymaster card too... Joe, even in death, you left too many clues! He has to have a hand in all of this. Let's also discuss what Joe's doing during the Main Game. Let's say, he's the mastermind. He found it harder to maintain the game while participating, so he made himself the Sacrifice. He might have 2 plans in his mind. One, survive with possibly Sara. Two, take Kai down and fake his death. By feeding Gin false info and making him seemed like the Sage, he gathered suspicion on himself. But why he said 'don't vote for him'? Simple, if the real Sage speaks up (Kai), then he would be viewed as a Commoner (not a Sage, but don't want vote for himself). If so, his first plan succeeds. But the cast didn't come to that conclusion and vote for Kai instead. This is the 2nd plan: taking out Kai and getting his freedom as the gamemaster. I mean, no one even bothered checking Joe's body. His death is just dubious.
Oh, and... Alice. Unfortunate name. I think his name should be "Arisu", but it's the same as "Alice" in Japanese so yeah. So it's not that there are 21 people, it's just this guy happened to hide around. He came with his sister, and was told to hide his identity because she doesn't want to be associated with him. So far we know he murdered someone, and that someone has the same name as that green-haired beanie man over there. Hmm... more suspicion on "Sou". Still don't know why he didn't do the First Trial with his sister though.
About "Sou"... I don't know. There's too much distrust around him, but no one can do anything about it. Sou's our Kokichi in this game (if you know Danganronpa V3, you'll get it). Basically, he thinks with pure logic. Everything he said is technically logical, you can't deny him. But those words aren't what a normal person would say. He doesn't care about what anybody feels. At all. He would lie so casually just to get some truth out of people. I'm not surprised if in the next chapter he'll be tied up. I still don't think he's behind this. Going by that Kokichi mindset, he's trying to win by any mean possible. I still don't know what he did to Kanna though, but they did have a lot of time together in the previous part. Poor Kanna is back in the danger zone now, at least that's what I feel like.

Hell yeah. This is the theme that made the biggest impression on me. Touhou 15 being the first Touhou game I played and all. ZUN said that this theme is simple, and unmistakenly the final boss's, which is... accurate. This theme is pure power incarnate, and its simplicity (it actually has really simple melodies and chord progression) allows it to be easily catchy and enjoyable. One of my favourites of all time. Funnily enough, the stage theme is among the first themes I arranged, yet I never touched Junko's theme until now. This is actually an arrangement of the version from the Dr. Latency album, which has ToES motif at some parts.[Touhou Arrangement] Immemorial MarketeersMono Chrome2022-05-02 | Composed by ZUN. Arranged by Mono Chrome. Artwork: pixiv.net/en/artworks/89719444
People have very distinct opinions regarding this theme. Some say it's bad, some say it's decent enough, some claim that it grows on you. My thoughts? This theme feels like something I would compose. ZUN describes the song as "where two sections intersect" and it honestly makes the song extremely experimental. Whenever I try to compose, I would... stick random melodies I came up with into one song... and this theme radiates the same energy. Because of this, it doesn't have defined climaxes, instead has multiple and none of them actually reaches a satisfactory height. Another controversal thing about this song is its repetition, where people would argue that it either does or does not repeat itself too much and I have to say: It absolutely does. The intro melody repeats itself in the background for most of the song, all the other melodies seems like just layering on top of it. I don't know if this is intentional on ZUN's part, but I kinda hated it. This combo'ing with the "no-climax" makes the theme feels like it's dragging and building to nowhere. After a few listen I would say, it's a decent enough song, but I won't place it in my favourites. I understand why some people like it though, this theme is emotional and intense as hell, having every part of the song trying to call out for your attention, with the multi-climax and all. Wonder if this is also part of ZUN's plan (?) This arrangement was done with the feeling of "a last spark burning out in glory" kind of feel. I basically amped up the strength of the instruments and occasionally the theme would fade out or flicker. I would rank this arrangement around the same spot as Keiki's, since I don't like the original theme to begin with, and I kinda went lazy with drums.[RSS Arrangement] Fantasy Nation Daybreak ~ Prayer PlayerMono Chrome2022-02-06 | Composed by Wanwan. It's here! The "Princess Peach" who looks like Goddess Madoka is here! Making this arrangement is... well expectedly hard, but there were a few plans that I couldn't implement. Since she's supposedly the daughter of Himiko, I was going to make it sound "shamanic" by putting chanting sounds... but I didn't manage to find the appropriate soundfont for it. Any attempts to simulate chants were also unsuccessful. I was a bit bumped, so I was like "how about I make it **super duper grandiose**" and that's how this turns out to be so LOUD. I think this counts as a mixing mistake but I don't care anymore. lol bass boosted go brrrrr
If anyone knows of a soundfont that has chanting or tribal? vocal, please inform me. I'll try for an attempt with it to see how it will turn out.[RSS Arrangement] The Princess who was Erased from HistoryMono Chrome2022-01-25 | Composed by Wanwan. Arranged by Mono Chrome. Artworks: pixiv.net/en/artworks/44371559 pixiv.net/en/artworks/80527504
Wanwan's comment on this song is that it "has a somber yet childish sound to it" which is frankly what I also feel about it. Initially, I was going for the "sad, melancholic" theming, but decided against it because the original song already filled that theme. So I decided to make it like an epic battle theme, while also retaining some child-like and sadness. And like Wanwan, I don't have the biwa sound. Even worse, I don't have the shou (a traditional Japanese reed instrument) that Wanwan used in this song. So I improvised with church organ (?) I was already aware that this song is hard to arrange, but when I got into making this, it was WAY WAY harder than my expectations. This single arrange is actually two (best?) attempts merged into one. Go figure.
I will now undergo the usual hating-on-my-new-work phase. That feeling of 'could have made it better' is already creeping in.
Will I finish the Tougenkyuu trio? Yes. Princess Peach is up on the list.[RSS Arrangement] World YamataizerMono Chrome2022-01-12 | Composed by Wanwan. Arranged by Mono Chrome. Artwork: pixiv.net/en/artworks/88590703
Here's an arrangement of a fan work, Tarumi's theme from Riverbed Soul Saver. I really likes the sheer power this theme exudes, so I tried to recreate it in this arrangement. It turns out pretty well. This is a bit before Iesua's theme so I didn't MIDI-fied this one, sorry. Also that one bloop at 2:32 makes me cringe every time. Can't fix it now. There are also two more arrangements regarding fan-made Touhou music, but due to me not able to find any pictures I will hold off uploading them for now. Soundcloud followers know what they are. wtf APRA_CS didn't know you copyright claim on behalf of ZUN why is this a thing anyway have this arrangement of Keiki's theme I made on a whim really I didn't intend to do this but for some reasons I did and it turned out meh it was not surprising tho EDIT: Okay to clarify why I think this is "meh"... First I have to say it is by no means "unpleasant to the ears". It just mostly lack creativity. Piano sections are beautiful, but having it occupy most of the song doesn't sit well with me, it feels lazy to me. Also the ZUNpet part is quite like "copy-pasted" from the original song. The only parts that stood out the most to me are the guitar riffs, I can recall actually thinking about how to make it sound cool. The very last part is... hmm... at that point I suddenly realized it sounded more chill than anticipated, so I just... made it chill? It was a surprise that it merges so well with the ToES melody that should appear later in the song. Man, looking back, I guess it's "not too bad". But I wouldn't consider this as one of my top arrangements.[Lenen Arrangement] Future World OverhaulMono Chrome2022-01-10 | Composed by JynX. Arranged by Mono Chrome. An arrangement of Tenkai's theme, arranged for my supposed 'return' 8 months ago, yet didn't make it to my channel until today. Reasons? Eh... I didn't pay attention to the mixing and ended up making it really loud. There are quite a few like this among my older works, especially the Egoistic Flowers remix. Back when I started arranging, someone offered me strict advice regarding the mixing and it sticks to me 'til this day. So I deemed this a failure at the time and didn't make a video of it. But here it is, in (mostly) full volume and loudness (the making of this video nerfed it, listen on Soundcloud for the authentic experience). Enjoy.[Lenen Arrangement] SILVERMono Chrome2022-01-10 | Composed by JynX. Arranged by Mono Chrome. Artwork: pixiv.net/en/artworks/86907663
Anyone who follows me on Soundcloud, your guess is correct. It's the one I uploaded 3 years ago there. Why I just uploaded a video of it now? Um... some petty reasons really. This was made before the Life-Guiding Song remix, and I considered this arrangement some sort of 'mini-arrange' due to how fast I made it. However... the original video I made for this one sorta corrupted...? My editing program was actually starting to bug out right around this time. Since the process took so long, I decided that it's not worth doing it again and just uploaded it exclusively on Soundcloud. But now, I guess this is my New Year resolution, I want to get over my extreme insecurity lol. A lot of my stuff didn't make it to the Internet due to me judging them as 'too subpar' and 'not worth it'. This is kinda the first step. After this I'm going to upload more of my works that haven't seen anything outside my computer. Hopefully I won't fill your subscription list too much. Anyway, enjoy this 3 years old remix of SILVER. I'm still proud of this one, despite it along with Life-Guiding Song being remnants of my old style.カタツムリ/Snails [Arrangement]Mono Chrome2021-12-31 | Composed by Kanoguti Channel: youtube.com/channel/UC5dh6r8_R1hbKIwpaZjDftg Remix by Mono Chrome
Tried my best to make it sound different while giving off the same feeling (?) My insecurity is kicking in and I already hate how this sounds. Hopefully that will get better. Anyway, I stumbled across Kanoguti while looking up weird Japanese horror games. His songs have a certain charm to it, and soon I found myself listening through his videos. "Snails", in my opinion, feels distinct from his other works, being that it notably has a comprehensable melody, something that is not common for Kanoguti. The song is mainly in 3/4, but towards the end there's that one part where it is 4/4 and to be honest it's kinda out-of-place. And yes I drew the picture. I was trying to draw a snail but got something else.[Touhou Arrangement] Doll of MiseryMono Chrome2021-07-20 | An arrangement of Yumeko's theme "Doll's Story ~ Doll of Misery" from Touhou 5.
Arranging this theme is like a cooldown really. But I found myself really enjoy doing it. Guess I should arrange shorter themes more often.
So yeah, the theme has odd chord progressions, but it's easy to get a hold of the overall feeling. I didn't add any trumpets because I think this theme shouldn't have a grand, powerful feeling that trumpets bring. I replace them with guitars instead, hope it works out.
And the notes at the start aren't supposed to be there, since the reversed melody is actually audio files, not notes. I put it there while converting it to MIDI.
Hear it on Soundcloud: soundcloud.com/k1g4n3ko/touhou-arrangement-doll-of-misery[Touhou Arrangement] Legendary Illusion ~ An Ordeal from GodMono Chrome2021-07-18 | "I won't arrange a long theme anymore, it tires me out and I'll be completely out the next day." A few days later...
An arrangement/mash-up of both of Shinki's themes "Legendary Illusion ~ Infinite Being" from Touhou 5 and "AN ORDEAL FROM GOD" from a Touhou fangame called "Magus in Mystic Geometries".
I am surprised that no one has thought of this yet, unless I haven't looked hard enough. The themes barely mix together, and am not good enough to make it sound better. So uh... this arrangement got split into two parts somehow - a calm, lighter part at the start and "All-out Pandemonium Power" at the later parts. I did plan this, but I don't know if it's a good idea. The plan is basically first loop (no wings) is calm but atmospheric, then when "An Ordeal from God" kicks in is the second part (white wings), finally with her final boss theme returns with full trumpets, is the third part (purple wings). I dunno, but the latter parts emit too much power that it doesn't sound that great anymore. Also I hate that I can't loop it probably at the end there. Arranging this theme brings immense nostalgia. This is the first Touhou song I chose to arrange. But the arrangement back then sucks lol. It's a good proof of improvement though. Hope all this doesn't make you feel like I'm being too harsh on myself. Anyway, enjoy the mash-up. And yes I was inspired a bit by JynX's arrangement, as evidenced by that piano part.
Inspired by a certain someone's remix, I decided to work on this theme. It was certainly more than I can chew. You can practically hear my exhaustion throughout the theme. Frantic piano is hard, man. And yes, I thought up a different frantic piano at the end cuz I was too exhausted to make it like Wanwan's. But it turns out okay in the end(?)
I use a new MIDI player this time called MIDITrail cuz it's better-looking than the ol' MAMPlayer I've been using.

Most of this is similar to the Kanna/Reko route so I might have speed-read things a bit faster than the previous video, hence the shorter time. I also skipped Gin and Q-Taro's memories because I already saw 'em in Kanna/Reko route. If you want to see them, refer to my Kanna/Reko route Part 1B video. Also I tried to get all the dolls killed before the Banquet here so you can see the difference with their absence.
Please note that in this video I deliberately failed some puzzles so you could see what happened. If you're looking for a guide, either look up my video of Kanna/Reko route where I cleared them, or look at some hints below. Spoilers of course. If you want to solve them yourself then please quickly ignore the following part of the description. Be mindful that taking too long in these puzzles (doing unnecessary things) may result in severe consequences.
Okay, here we go.
First Maple battle: If Maple is angry, use Ranmaru as decoy. When Maple isn't angry, use Sara to call for help. Next part is similar, but you have to push the correct button corresponding to her current emotion (refer to the green books to know which color is which emotion). Next part, first have Mai read the letter. Then use characters according to her current emotion. Angry - Reko/Alice or Q-Taro Sad - Ranmaru then Kanna/Sou (accept handkerchief first) Happy - Hinako or Kurumada or Kanna/Sou (if offered handkerchief) Reconcile with Anzu or Sara after doing 3 correct actions (60% full)
Locker Room: Use Lantern to see the drawings on the lockers. They represent the rooms of 4F and 5F. Put the items corresponding to the rooms to the correct locker. The items falling out are random, but there always will be items needed to be put in the lockers among them. I'd advise taking a picture of the lockers under Lantern vision beforehand so you know which locker is which (because you can't see them when they're open).
Conduit Puzzle: Before anything else, don't ask Midori to reset your charge at the beginning unless you like things harder. Most of the time have Ranmaru collects charges. When someone other than him is at red (3 charges), reset their charge by preferrably selecting the one with the least charge in the group.
Second Maple Battle: Preferrably, don't select options that destroy the monitors. Use the right people for the correct AI: Angry AI - Q-Taro, Reko/Alice Sneering AI - Hinako, Reko/Alice Sorrowful AI - Q-Taro, Kanna/Sou Frightened AI - Hinako, Kanna/Sou Gin works for all but only once.[No Commentary] Your Turn To Die - Chapter 3 (Kanna/Reko Route - Part 1B)Mono Chrome2021-06-12 | "Sara Chidouin returns home from school late one night to discover that something's gone terribly wrong. This seems rather interesting so I took a few tries at it. The game has excellent atmosphere, I have to say. Despite being a walking simulator, it is somewhat an enjoyable experience.
The game's ending depends on the number of those things you have collected in your playthrough. I'm going to spoil the first three endings (the third one is shown in the video) so if you don't wanna be spoiled, stop reading now.
Okay.
First ending, you collapse among the other robots. Second ending, you collapse right before you can go outside. Third, shown in video, you collapse before the torii.
I may go for the remaining endings later, if I manage to find the rest of those things.[No Commentary] Witchs Heart - Sirius Conclusion (Day 4 + Ending)Mono Chrome2020-03-21 | "While playing up in the mountains, Claire Elford finds herself taking shelter from the rain in a mansion. This is getting really interesting. I especially like the dialogue between Noel and Ashe.

My dialogue reading was a bit faster this time since I already read most of them. Based on what I have seen, this route is going to be both interesting and hell at the same time.
Oh boy that meeting between the real Sou, his "friend" and his murderer was awkward. The real Sou for some reasons doesn't mind being called 'Shin', but I named him 'MidorII' so as not to be confused.
Interesting. Alice recognizes the 5F locker room. Did he do the First Trial there? Did he run away? Did he indirectly kill Hinako? Or did someone trick him or something.
Sou is more useful than Kanna in this part, though since he considers Sara to be the enemy, things aren't going to be well. I don't think you can actually 'win' with Sou alive like this.
Anyway, the tag battle with MidorII at the end there, you can fail and it will also lead to the same outcome.[No Commentary] Your Turn To Die - Chapter 3 (Kanna/Reko Route - Part 1A)Mono Chrome2020-03-10 | "Sara Chidouin returns home from school late one night to discover that something's gone terribly wrong. Sorry for the wait, I ran into some problems with OBS, but it should be fine now. Welcome to the final chapter. It is going to be a long one, with multiple outcomes too. I'm going to try playing through this with Sou (Shin Tsukimi) next. Him and Kanna seem different enough to warrant a different video of this part. Also may upload a video of battle failures.
To be honest I don't really remember what I wanted to say in this part.
Lots of things happen so fast and some questions get answered right away.
So we have the real Sou Hiyori as the Floor Master this time, with the Dummies accompanying us. The Dummies are all people who died in the First Trial. We have seen all their Victim Videos (some have to be bought, but you can watch them all at this point). Ranmaru's socially awkward but I believe he's not a bad guy. I mean, he got a lot of opportunities to kill Sara but he didn't do it. Anzu the clown. She's useless most of the time in this section. Nothing more I could say about her. Kurumada's another buff guy. He gets along well with the other buff guys in the group. His strength is useful but I didn't really feel he has stood out much yet from the cast. Hayasaka is interesting as we know he is connected to Asunaro. He may have done something against their interests and got forced into this killing game. Gin's strangely fond of him. Mai is... well, two-faced. She usually seems sweet, but I think she did it to hide her own anxious and scared self. I mean, this Mai is acting different from the one in the Victim Video. But she did try to stab Q-Taro while she can, so I guess she's kinda selfish and distrusting of others. Hinako is a mysterious one. She thinks logically and is probably the smartest of the Dummies despite her age.
Midori (Sou Hiyori) is the true troll of this game. Shin's a good actor, but nowhere close to the real thing. Midori is extremely mischievous and will try to pull tricks whenever he has a chance. And I don't know how much power he holds. Enough to control the police? To manipulate a criminal situation? What kind of person is this guy? Alice probably killed him for good reasons.
Poor Keiji though.
Hope he got out of that coffin alive.[Lenen Arrangement] A Name Cast Off From FateMono Chrome2020-01-27 | An arrangement of Shion's theme "A Name Cast Off From Fate" in Len'en 3 ~ Reactivate Majestical Imperial.

This video shows what happens if you either don't push the fake Reko or mess up too many times in the discussion.
Personal opinion, but I think saving Alice and sacrificing Reko will eventually leads you to a worse outcome than the other option. Here's some reasons:
- You go to this route by either failing too many times or refusing to push the fake Reko. Which means you go to this route through either failure or accepting that you would rather save a doll than a human.
- You basically killed Reko. You saved the fake, and that fake would later stab the real Reko. In the other route, Ranger killed Alice more directly, so Sara has no reason to blame herself later on for his death.
- Alice wasn't there for his sister's death. Even if he's there though, he couldn't say anything to her, because she died instantly.
- Alice's problem will never be solved. He will live knowing that his sister will never acknowledge him as her brother ever again.
- He has no plans for his future. When the characters started talking about their futures, he didn't say anything about himself. In Reko's route though, she said she plans to have a concert.
All of this implies that he would be a worse choice if you have to pick between Reko and Alice.
Oh, I know. He may know more about the Death Game, you say? Specifically, he knows about the real Sou Hiyori. So that's why you save him? I can't help but think that this is a way the game is baiting you to go on a worse path. I mean, it did the same to Sou aka Shin. Sou is more useful than Kanna, so you would rather kill Kanna than him. Too bad, all you did was anger him.
I guess if there's an absolute worst ending in this game, it's going to involve saving Alice and Sou (in other words, sacrificing Reko and Kanna).
It's like the game is telling you to stop deciding based on logic alone.[No Commentary] Your Turn To Die - Chapter 2 (Part 2 - Main Game + All Voting Results)Mono Chrome2019-07-05 | "Sara Chidouin returns home from school late one night to discover that something's gone terribly wrong. Why does the best route is only accessable by sacrificing Sou? I guess he raised too many death flags this chapter...
Why people still call him "Sou", you wonder? It's just people showing respect for his decision of throwing away his old self, "Shin Tsukimi".

It's time to prepare for the Main Game, but the cast seems to have a different plan in mind. Apologies for the video length, but this part is a bit too exciting to cut off.
Don't do that. Don't give me hope. I knew that was gonna happen. As if they're escaping that easily. Sou did a good job though. If anything, he's actually a lot more reliable and useful here. I don't really care about his ulterior motives to be honest.
Really good teamwork was accomplished in this part though. Shows how scary this cast would be to the organizers if they believe and work together. Too bad their actions were anticipated.
Seems like Gashu/and perhaps other Floor Masters are victims too. They really have to do everything to stop the participants from breaking the game.
A lot of information was provided in this part, I suspect that they will be used in the upcoming Main Game.
Sara really barely escaped the Sacrifice card. Who traded it to her in the first plaaace- Sou did you- Whoever is the Keymaster is potentially the one who did the swap. I mean, each swap costs 50 tokens. Unless you are one of the high rankers, you can only do at most 1 trade. That save at the end though... I wonder if Keiji did it. He is one of the high rankers after all. I hope it's not him. Please don't kill off Mr. Friendly Policeman. That said, I don't want Sou to die either. Despite how much of a jerk he is, he still does everything in his ability to try and save us all. Nao's getting more reliable. We move onward to the Final Attraction and discover shocking facts.
Alright, a lot of things happening in this part can give us a hint about the true nature of this Death Game.
When Ranger was killed, he did not bleed, unlike Miley. Fake Reko didn't bleed too. What does this tell us? Yes, Miley is a human, and seeing how the Receptionist Doll is Kai's dad, I think Miley is Kai's mom. Kinda messed up when you think about how they were about to kill their own son previously.
Alice "sacrificed" himself for Reko. Well, not exactly. He could have lived, but Ranger... I'm glad Ranger died in despair. They were about to be reunited just right there. Alice died happy, knowing that he's made up with his sister though. Poor guy raising death flags the whole chapter.
I like how Nao turns from a weak, indecisive character into a strong, determined one. It feels like the dynamic has switched - those who at the beginning seemed weak are stronger, and those who at first seemed strong are revealing their weak side.
Q-Taro was acting a bit suspicious as time goes by. That's why I avoid interacting with him. Especially Day 3, when only him is available.[No Commentary] Your Turn To Die - Chapter 2 (Part 1 - Day 2)Mono Chrome2019-07-02 | "Sara Chidouin returns home from school late one night to discover that something's gone terribly wrong. We continue to investigate the third floor, doing attractions and witnessing the return of a certain green-haired beanie man.
Eeh. Not sure what to talk about in this part. Mostly because too much's happening. Sou was faking it the whole time, as expected. But that scene lets us know a bit more about his intentions. He has good intentions, and tries to save the group behind his lies. He suspects Sara due to how she gets along with everyone too easily. There we go, at least we players can understand the reason for his actions now. The cast doesn't know yet though.
Reko will never get along with her brother ever again. I'm a bit surprised, actually. Usually these games will just allow them to reconcile... not this one though. But by doing this, we could see that Reko's in a lot of pain trying to forget about her brother. She wouldn't toss the bongos out, and most notably maintaining it all the while.
I still somewhat believe in Keiji. I know he's hiding a lot from everyone, but I feel like the things he's hiding are more personal - the memories that he just wants to forget. That victim video though... Oh boy. Keiji, you better have a real good reason for this.
Safalin... was getting carried away for a moment there. I know that these dolls aren't good news, but Safalin is the first one that doesn't spit in your face. I feel like using that device too many times could lead to something bad. Really want to try that out. I may put it in the next video.[No Commentary] Your Turn To Die - Chapter 2 (Part 1 - Day 1)Mono Chrome2019-07-01 | "Sara Chidouin returns home from school late one night to discover that something's gone terribly wrong. We move on from the second floor, and some new stuff as well as characters are introduced.
This game really likes the theme of people dealing with the trauma of having someone close to you die. We have Kanna, Nao, Keiji as he implied so, and finally Sara. It's really hard to continue whenever Sara's having a hallucination. To avoid raising your hallucination level, DON'T try to remember Joe.
I see this game's trying to clear Joe's name too. Very well. However, the explanation they provided is also too vague. The card ended up with Joe, because of Sou? Could be. But could be not. Remember, if you're dealing with the real mastermind here, they could alter the rules at will. I'm gonna stop talking about my suspicion with Joe now and focus on other things.
So we got a lot more dolls this floor. The Floor Master is, Ranger, who easily becomes hated moments after being introduced. He wears the clothes and accessory of those who deceased, potentially trying to provoke or bring regret to those who are still alive. I'm glad I'm not seeing him more in this day.
Safalin is the Vice Master of floor 3. She's definitely the nicer of the two, and other than the fact that she's working for the mastermind, I actually quite like her character. She manages a Medical Office, so looks like she's going to treat your wounds too.
And A.I. Mishima. This is like Alter Ego from Danganronpa. It's kinda sweet seeing Nao reunited with her professor though, despite him being, you know, an A.I. I'm very glad that they put the scene where Nao said goodbye to A.I. Mishima because she knows she has to move on. It's a very good character development, out of all people, Nao gets the most character development so far, surprisingly.
The attractions you have to do in this chapter are fairly difficult. I'm gonna give tips on the Memory Dance one. Best keeping a note by your side. Using symbols or words to symbolize a move. For example, if the moves are like this: Left-Right-Down-Up-Body-Up-Left Then I would make note like this: ADSW WA with the "WASD" moveset and Space as the Body move. Even so, it's really hard because the final doll is a bit too fast.[No Commentary] Your Turn To Die - Chapter 1 (Part 2 - Investigation)Mono Chrome2019-06-29 | "Sara Chidouin returns home from school late one night to discover that something's gone terribly wrong. Part 2 is a bit long so I split it into "Investigation" and "Main Game" sections.
How should I say... I'm writing this having played through the Main Game (shouldn't have done that), so my opinions are quite different now.
I do recall still suspecting Joe though. Reasons why, the Main Game almost laid it all out. That's all. Oh and of course Nao has some character development after her professor's death.
That new guy... His style's just like Reko, isn't it? Just more colorful. Oh hey... doesn't that make it 21 people who got involved?

Oh hey it's a new game translated by vgperson, so let's give it a try! Basically Zero Escape + Danganronpa. These games are almost always intriguing, so I wonder what this game can offer.
Likable cast so far. No one's... worth hating on as of now, I guess.
Sou's a bit too suspicious, even if he's evil, I don't think he's the big bad.
Keiji puts too much trust on you, a person he's just met. I hope we know the true reason other than 'because you're cute'.
Kanna... I don't feel like she's gonna die. Following Danganronpa format (even though this isn't it) those who find the determination to stand up to hardship through personal traumatic events will survive until the end.
Q-Taro is the fast food 11037.
Reko's probably going to get some character development. She already shows likable traits (strong, independent, but caring) so I hope we can learn more about her story.
Nao's... I don't know what to say about her. She's really crazy about her professor, but other than that... I don't know. She's just plain. Please don't pull a Tsumugi.
Gin's your catdog shota. I don't really know why he's a cat and a dog at the same time. We only know that he has an abusive father.
Mishima's probably the best teacher you'll ever have. You have that mad scientist look, that mad scientist act, that goofiness of a wary teacher and the kindness of a caring teacher. Nao's telling the truth after all... maybe. Too bad, we'll never have that chance.
Kai... I mean, the MC confirmed that he's the stalker... but I don't think he has bad intentions. Remember when Sara recalled seeing that person on the street and felt like he wanted to talk to her? That certainly doesn't sound like he wanted to harm her... I guess.
Joe's hard to judge. There's many aspects in the game that, if we think differently, it would point to Joe being the most suspicious of them all. "I saw that stalker!" implying that he knows the stalker's face. But he doesn't say anything when he met Kai. Maybe it was a different stalker! Then there's many that doesn't add up. He knows that Sara has a stalker for a long time and has been walking her home since, it's almost impossible for him to mistake the face of his best friend's stalker. Maybe he doesn't actually see their face? Then why did he claim 'I saw the stalker!' then? Suspicious.
I had a hard time getting a grasp on Sara's personality. I guess it's because she's how she described herself: an incredibly normal person attending school. Maybe we will get some insight into her character later on.
Sue Miley's your Monokuma this game. But I would prefer my monochrome bear over her. Maybe it's because she's human-like, there's almost nothing lovable about her.
So there's supposed to be 20 participants... but 9 of them died... Alice, Shunsuke, Naomichi, Mai, Megumi, Anzu, Kugie, Hinako, Ranmaru... I wonder if they'll come into play someday.
Also, you can't fire twice at the same target. Sara'll just say 'this doll has been selected' and do nothing. On people it's just them feeling relieved.[Lenen Arrangement] Eternal Force ~ Ultimate PowerMono Chrome2019-06-24 | An arrangement of (omitted) Clause (omitted)'s theme, "Empire Power ~ Eternal Force", and "Eternal Power ~ BIG STAR".

Interesting. So it's not how it was happening, but how it ended. To think, Sirius was the same too. I'm talking about their 'happy life'. They were both living happily until something bad happened (Nicholas' attack, Gramps' betrayal/goodbye). It's more like, if you have experienced happiness, when you lose it, it hurts plenty more. ~Season 6 - Million Gamble~ So far the most badly-translated and longest season. The casino bit at the start where you have to win 28000 coins is very frustrating if you don't know the most efficient way. As a devil, Caron has to always act ruthless. He will do anything he can to fulfill the contract so that it would end like what he wants. If you look at Noel again, at first, he's like that to her. Seems like having the same goal makes him warmer to Noel.
Oh well.
[Spoilers ahead]
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA WHY JILLIAN STOP I did not expect that twist at the end there. Jillian's logic is just illogical. Noel has gone too far now. Pulling her back would end up ruin her. I have a feeling that Jillian has some kinda ulterior motive, but still. Ugh, really. If her reason is truly that, I would put her at the bottom of my favourite characters list. Do you think Burrows would leave her alone if she retreats, after knowing all those things about him? No. He would try to kill her. Again.

_________________________________________________________________[No Commentary] Noel The Mortal Fate - Season 2Mono Chrome2018-05-27 | "This is a story about the revenge of a girl who lost her arms and legs to a devil… Noel Cerquetti, a girl who lost her arms and legs in a contract, works together with the great devil Caron, to get her revenge against one man."
Noel The Mortal Fate is a charismatic adventure game developed by Kanawo with RPG Maker.
~Season 2 - Blind Devotion~ That was quite shorter than the first season. This season focuses more on Cybilla, hence the name.
Also, Noel changed too quickly that I don't recognize her at first. Too much character development maybe?

~Season 1 - Mortal Revenger~ So the game bugged out after the final fight, I was forced to record the Japanese version to proceed. Even so, that recording bugged out, cropping out some dialogues and the entire credit+after credit. I was incredibly fed up with this, so here's what happened after the credit:
News: Now, onto the next news. Early morning yesterday, the "Bomber" who has been terrorizing the city was arrested in the abandoned steel works buildings. According to the Laplace police, they determined the bomber's whereabouts from the mayor's intelligent source and descended upon the steel works building to make the arrest. The mayor even commented: "The bomber even attacked the featured pianist for our annual event. I could no longer accept him being loose in our city." Cybilla: Did you even foresee that... Fugo Dressel would lose...? Burrows: No way, I was counting on him to win. I wanted to get rid of Noel and Caron for good this time... and I planned to have the police department clean this mess up. Cybilla: ... That's why you ordered to blow up Ms. Jillian's house? I think you were pretty careless. The citizens are quite upset as well. Burrows: It's natural for a bomber to blow up the city. Plus, it achieved our goal to entice them to come out. There's no problem as long as the people hate "the bomber". And "the mayor" will gain even more positive reputation by taking him down. He's a Demon who won't fully submit to me. He would have eventually got in my way. I was hoping for the best case scenerio which would have been they killed each other. Cybilla: ... However, Ms. Noel and the devil defeated the Demon. Burrows: I guess they're becoming a good team. That's fine. I know what their next move is going to be... I'm counting on you, Cybilla. TO BE CONTINUED...

Kanawo is the creator of Blank Dream and Blight Dream, by the way. You can tell from the sprite works. Anyway, I got so excited when this came out on Steam. I was just waiting for an English translation!
~Season 1 - Mortal Revenger~
So basically... this is a story about dealing with a devil. And it involves a Noel. Why does this sound so familiar...?
Well, this actually came out before Witch's Heart, so... Let's just enjoy the story, shall we?

Basically the Epilogue to 1beatHeart. This is one of the easiest murder mysteries I've ever seen. The suspect list only contains one person. I guess it shouldn't be too hard. It's great to see the grown-up version of Natsukage and Miumi though.

In this part we befriended all the hackers and saw the rest of the friend events. That was quite a ride, I really like how this turns out! The game itself isn't emotional-taxing except the end, which makes it a good stress-reliever. The friend-making mechanic is basically like Persona, which is a compliment actually. Overall, there's no friend in the game who makes me annoyed. That or I'm secretly Nanashi. Pointing out discrepancies is also fun, too. Present topic when the other person talks about the same topic you have. Ask for more when the other person is too ambiguous about what they're saying and "Wait a sec!" when they say something contradictory. Basically Danganronpa and maybe Ace Attorney. But more Danganronpa because of Nanashi's "Chigau!" The music really fits the overall atmosphere in the game to be honest.
My wish has been fulfilled. Aira returns to Kiri and Misato, and also gets them to talk to eachother! I was smiling the whole time during the scene. Such a beautiful family...

Happy End best end (obviously). The Normal End and Bad End is kinda... off. To think that Nanashi would do such things... hmm... Maybe because I got the Happy End first so those feel very strange...

In this part we befriended everyone in Sweet Beach. Sagara's the chunnibyou pastry seller. Meu's the consulting fortune teller. Izuchi's the cool psychiatrist. Saaya's Yuri- I mean, the self-harming yandere. Mary's the charismatic idol who has a weak stomach. But such things are not a problem for her. Meru's the hypersomniac maid. Heat's the generic energetic guy whom animals don't even respect.

Chapter 4 ! The twist ! The reveal ! Turns out Potete is both the dog and the girl, and they're mind-swapped. Izuchi is Kirai's brother I knew it. They both got that high-and-mighty attitude. That virus he gave me was the most brutal one I've seen so far. What's up with those 15 layers of viruses?!?
Anyway, the main twist wasn't even that surprising, like Nameless said.

In this part we befriended everyone in Break Passage. Enri's the drummer who seems to be tired of everything. Asuto's the bass player who's obsessed with Larikkuma. Azusa's a glutton who can't seem to look bad even after chomping down 10 Big WACs. Jin's an arcade gamer who can't stand losing. Hiyu's the hacker girl. She loves pulling pranks on Jin. Also she seems to admire Nanashi's programming skills... hmm... Yuuto's the sleep-deprived reporter. Desparate to find a scoop, he eventually wrote something about the Undie-dentified Stocking Alien. Ryuuri's the boss of the Backstreet. Always sleeps, but wakes up to killing intent. Kirara's the valley girl. Also made Nanashi into the best trap ever. I can't understand a gyaru's language though, so that part left me very confused.
