In 2023, Gray also launched a third station, WGAT-CD, that serves as a Telemundo affiliate for the Georgia/Carolina area and WAGT's signal is also carried on a sub of that channel. WAGT's subchannels include CW, Antenna, Dabl, Heroes and Icons, and Start TV. Also, since 2023, WAGT's NBC logo has been deemphasized like many other Gray's NBC affiliates.

WCOV launched as a CBS affiliate in 1953 but lost the affiliation in 1985 when Selma station WSLA (now WAKA) moved its transmitter to serve Montgomery and served as a CBS affiliate for the entire market. The first set of its are from the station's very short-lived period as an independent station in 1986 while the rest are from the current era with Fox. Although David Woods, son of Charles Woods, still runs the station as a manager, he turned over ownership to the station to Allen Media in 2021, making it that company's second Alabama-based station and third serving parts of the state, as Allen also owns NBC/ABC affiliate WTVA out of Tupelo and Columbus, MS, which serves extreme northwestern Alabama.In terms of subchannels, Antenna TV is on 20.2 and This TV on 20.3. WCOV also airs a newscast produced by the same staff of WAKA and WNCF and has largely retained the same graphics and presentation since the mid 2000s with the OSI Fox affiliate theme.

Worrell) jacky9br 2024-02-03 | From 1986, here is a commercial for Salley's Grocery Store, a regional chain based in North and Central Louisiana, which, at this time, had 2 locations in Alexandria, LA and 1 in Pineville. This one aired on KALB-TV in Alexandria and features Jim Varney as Ernest P. Worrell. Around the time this ad aired, it did not have the impact Salley wanted, mostly stemming from the comment that Salley's was matching or beating every price in town. The ad campaign waned throughout 1986, and by the summer of 1986, James Salley retired with his ex-wife and children taking control of the business. In 1990, they closed their location on Jackson Street Extension, and the Pineville and Masonic Drive locations closed in 1992, with Masonic Drive closing shortly after the Presidential Election due to the recession of the early 1990s. I don't have as much information about Salley's in terms of history.
