Carrying a heavy rucksack within metres of the car I soon found the first plants that took my interest. Looking at the Clear Skies App for when it was supposed to be clear, I drove to Hartside Summit, between Penrith and Alston. At a height of 1903 feet the views are quite stunning where you can see the hills in Scotland 45 miles away.Unfortunately the moon was high in the sky at over 80% brightness so did cause some issues and helped with others.
