Couple month ago I got to convert over some Digital 8 cassettes I had lying around. In this video I'm an 18 year old child hanging out with some buddies from school. Taking a trip to the raceway park was something we enjoyed doing frequently. Even though this is a very boring video watching cars drag race at the beginning of the century. This will be part one of a couple. The camcorder used was a (Sony DCR-TRV103 20x Optical Zoom 360x Digital Zoom 2.5-Inch Display Digital Handycam. I wish I had the mentality I have now when it comes to recording. Back then this expensive piece of equipment was just a toy to us that we barely used and when we did, didn't really take good shots. Wish I had documented more of this era.
