Where is and how to access cabin fuses in Audi A3 (8V)? Checking for blown #fuses is one of the first diagnostic procedures when troubleshooting electrical issues within vehicle, or when installing 3rd party accessories like dashcam, phone charger, garage door opener. Or if your 12V outlet / cigarette lighter is not working and you want to check for blown fuses.
âšī¸ In #AudiA3 (type 8V, MQB platform) you will find the cabin fusebox on the drivers side, next to the steering wheel column, behind a dashboard cover with "AIRBAG" sign on it. You need to pry it, starting from the bottom edge, to release 3 clips that hold this element.
đĄ If you are having trouble to remove the #fusebox cover, start with removing dashboard side cover. You will be able to reach one of the clips from inside of the dashboard. Help yourself by pushing the fusebox cover from the back while prying it at the same time.
