This area is fairly annoying since you need items to fight the main enemies but they're dropped frequently enough where it's not a huge issue unless you're shit and die heaps. A few key items in this are, so make sure to grab them. Also, bring a lightning weapon to the Four Kings fight, otherwise you won't do enough damage and you're gonna have a bad time.

This is a render of the unfinished Dukes Archives episode I was making on stream. There are missing assets, bad cuts, rendering issues, empty moments and other unfinished bits but I wanted to upload this at least before moving on.
This officially marks the final upload I will make as WildPie101 before I move onto other ventures under a new pseudonym. Thank you again to everyone who came along for the ride and supported me even while I wasn't uploading. It was this support which made this series get past the Anor Londo vid, without it nothing after that would exist, but unfortunately I need to put this project behind me so I can feel like I can move onto things I really care about making.
This channel will remain the way it is but it will no longer be active. If you're at all interested in seeing what I do next please follow my Twitter account above as it's the only active social media profile I use.
It's dark, it's spooky, most people hate it, but it's really not that bad. Don't forget to bring a divine weapon down to make the area boss easier and remember to fucken smack Petrus in his bitch ass.

The route in the video might seem a bit wonky but I found it to be the most efficient route with minimal backtracking while collecting everything important. Bring a divine weapon if you can to make your life easier as well.

I could have done a video on this area a lot earlier but wanted to save it for now when you can finally collect everything. Getting the Witches set is only possible if you summon her for Four Kings and she survives the fight so if you want it don't fuck that up.

Technically you can do this area at any point, you just have to go around the gate but it's best to wait a while until you're levelled enough to take on Sif. A few interesting things here so it's worth going through and grabbing anything. Just don't get ganked :^)

Painted World isn't a very big area but its super dense. Lots of really interesting items scattered all about so it's worth spending the time to collect everything. Also a good spot for soul farming at this point in the game imo.

Okay so Anor Londo is pretty fucking long. Probably the largest area in the game (I think don't quote me on that) so there's a lot to miss. Also, O&S live here, so there's that. Only a couple of actually tricky areas though, the rest you just have to be careful going through. It's also worth noting that if you kill Gwyndolin, you lose your chance to join the Darkmoon covenant.

Sen's Fortress is a pain in the ass if you want to get everything in it in one shot rather than having to come back to it later. This means a lot of backtracking, so get used to that concept. There are a few good items and a rather useful NPCs here so don't miss them, because next stop is Anal Rodeo. You're gonna need all the help you can get.

Blighttown. I don't need to say anything else. Place sucks ass. Use a map or some shit cause it's a maze. Make sure to bring lots of moss to cure the poison and toxin that you will 100% contract no matter what. Have fun.
Also props to Confuzledish for the Hitler idea.

The Depths is a maze. If you get lost, here's a map: http://www.kouryakubo.com/darksouls_en/Depths.html Anyways, the Spider sheild is really good for Blighttown cause of it's poison resist. Make sure to grab it. Also, that key near the ginat rat is the only way to get to the bonfire room without the master key, so grab that as well. Ring of the Evil Eye is average at best. Lautrec can be summoned as long as you're friendly with him and freed him from the parish.

Honestly what's there to say about this area? Kill the boss then go to the depths. The only thing of value here is Griggs cause he sells magic 'n' stuff. Unlocking the cage door is also pretty useful for The Depths, but make sure you buys purple and blooming moss from the Undead Female Merchant. They will be almost essential for Blightown.
Also, the audio quality from the game recordings are a bit weird. Don't know why. Get over it.

So going back to the Asylum at this point is a good idea for the ring you get, and you'll find out why later. Kill the Stray Demon now or later, because he might be a bit tough at this point, but it means you get the slab earlier and don't have to worry about it. The crest shield dropped by Oscar is also really useful later on, so you'll wanna grab that as well. Get the peculiar doll as well. Look, just grab fucking everything, okay?

Darkroot Garden has two main parts to it. I only cover one in this video, because the second part should be done at a higher level. If you summon Witch Beatrice, she can help you for another boss later on, so don't forget to summon her. Make sure to garb the Wolf ring as well. It's invaluable at this point in the game, especially if you're playing a character that's lightly armoured. The cave leads to valley of the drakes, which I'll cover later. There's a ladder in the Basin next to the waterfall which leads to the second part of the Garden. Don't go there yet, like I said.

Not much to miss in the Parish really, except maybe for Lautrec. Some people like to kill him so he doesn't kill the fire keeper, but if you let him go and let him kill her, you can get some cool stuff from him then bring the fire keeper back, so, in the long run, it's probably worth it. But yeah, cut of gargoyles tail, grab the basement key and make sure to speak with Seigmeyer outside Sen's Fortress.

Undead Burg has a few easily missed items and areas, so don't fucking miss them. Buy the residence key for safe measure. You can get it by killing the merchant but I've killed him before and had him not drop it. This let's you get the gold pine resin and something else later on. Also, instead of running around the Black Knight, just parry it to death do avoid taking damage. It nets you a sweet Titanite chunk. Finally, to join the Sunlight Warriors, you need at least 25 faith. This level decreases by five for every successful coop session.

Firelink Shrine is the hub. You'll be coming back here a lot, so if you don't find everything here before the end of the game, you're a disappointment. Two of the three ways will fuck you up this early, so don't go there. Also, Crestfallen is always a dick. No exceptions.

This is Undead Asylum. The fact that you need a guide for this level is just sad. Nothing of interest to get here... yet. Just kill the Ass Demon and leave. Seriously, don't stay any longer than you need to.
