***PLEASE READ***IMPORTANT**
Ok, first of all, sorry everyone. This chapter is REALLY long compared to the others. I was going to break it up in parts, but decided against it because I wanted the whole storyline to stay together. I hope this being 8 minutes long doesn't make people stop watching. Some pretty exciting things happen in this one.
Second, thanks again SO much to all the viewers for their comments. It means a lot. I feel like not a lot of people are watching these though. I would love more feedback, just to know if I'm doing the story justice. Haha, sorry, I'm not trying to sound desperate, just want to know more opinions.
Also, there is a glitch int he beginning. Some of Gwen and the Knights riding shots are black for some reason. But it's ok, it doesn't really disturb the story. Ok, and now, I'm about to explain the plot, so if you don't want spoilers, I suggest you read AFTER the movie. Thanks again, everyone. You're awesome!
Plot:
After Arthur recovers frorthur and Gwen steal loving glances at em the battle with Queen Annis's champion, everyone sets off for Camelot. When they arrive, the kingdom is there is welcome them with praise and celebrating.
They all slowly return to their lives. Arthur and Morgana watch over their sick father. A few days after the battle, Lancelot gets up the courage to ask Gwen to marry him, not wanting to ever lose her. Meanwhile, Arthur asks for Gwen as he sits with his father.
Back at Gwen's house, Lancelot asks her again for her hand in marriage. Gwen thinks about what her future would be if she chose Arthur. His father would turn against him, and their love would never be allowed to continue. They would be separated and all would be a tragedy. She does not want that for Arthur, so she says yes to Lancelot. He goes to kiss her, and Morgana sees this from the door.
That night, Gwen decides she must tell Arthur about her decision, so they can both move on. When she goes to knock, she hears Arthur scream. She walks in, and finds him on the floor holding his dying father. She goes for help, not being able to discuss her engagement to Lancelot.
Gaius declares the King will die soon. Everyone sits around him at his last moments. He finally dies, leaving Arthur devastated. The kingdom mourns the death of their king along with Arthur. Gwen sits with him, comforting him. He finally says goodbye to his father, and they prepare for the funeral. Gwen weeps at the funeral, feeling selfish that all she can think about is that now there is no obstacle between her and Arthur. Lancelot holds Gwen's hand, thinking she is overwhelmed by the death. Arthur watches this interaction and disappears.
The next morning is the coronation of Arthur. He is now King of Camelot.
